A Boy Named Reid (Audiobook)
A Boy Named Reid, is a true story about an eight year old boy’s childhood trauma. In this book for children, Reid Anderson tells his story, with his words, to explain how his accident happened, as if looking through a child’s eyes.
And, how the quick reactions of a loving mom, first responders, doctors, and nurses, saved his life, and most of his hand, except for two fingers, that were lost to the tragedy.
Reid tells about his journey back to health, and how he learned to use his hand again, to write letters, tie his shoes, play ball, do sports, and even play guitar!
And Reid wants everyone to know that with some creativity and hard work, and with the love and help from family, friends, and those who care…
Dreams really can come true, even if it takes a lifetime!

Don’t Say It’s Over
Jesus
“King of the Jews”
“The Prince of Peace”
Jesus, who was disgusted with the puppet priests that Rome foisted upon their Jewish subjects, tried to teach as many as would listen to him, about the One God. His teachings are the foundation of Christianity.
He said, “No one comes to the Father, but through me.” A very Jesus way to say, “Listen to me about God, I know what I’m talking about!”
Jesus taught that God is a loving God—forgiving, just, and eternal.
Needless to say, the Romans didn’t like that Jesus went against their puppet priesthood, so they crucified him.
As the Roman soldiers pounded nails through his hands, he was quoted as saying, “Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do.”
Christians were persecuted for the next 300 years. At the Council of Milan in 313CE, the Roman Emperor Constantine, decreed it illegal to persecute Christians any longer, and he became the first Christian Roman emperor.
Pope Julius 1, is responsible for designation of the holy Christian celebration dates (i.e. Christmas).
Arius and Athanasius, were both early Christian theologians, and Athanasius beliefs were trinitarian (Father/Son/Holy Spirit). Athanasius heavily influenced which early Christian books were to be discarded, and not considered for canonization. (Some of what was disposed of in the early Christian writings, can be found in the Nag Hammadi library of ancient books, discovered in 1945.)
When the bishops were finally in agreement on how to proceed with their understanding of Christianity, it became the “Universal” religion of the Roman Empire, or—Catholic.
Other forms of Christianity exist today, as well.
Thank you Jesus, for giving your life, so we may understand God.
Find Peace.
Find Love.
Find God.

Colored Lights
In the spirit of giving, the Lucia is celebrated on December 13. As the story goes, Lucia helped to feed those hiding in the catacombs, that were being persecuted by the Romans around 304CE. The candles she wore on her head were used to light her way at night, leaving her hands free to carry food. And then, when she refused to marry a suitor, he spitefully turned her in to the Roman authorities and she was brutally executed.
Live in the Light!
Merry Christmas!

Wondering
A prayer to the Infinite, the Almighty, the All…
Wondering if my prayers are heard, and thankful for all of my blessings!
That we come to understand we are all children of this amazing creator, sharing a part of that almighty consciousness, and that we learn how to apply love in the most difficult circumstances, to find the answers to the most earnest prayers, so that we can find peace in the turmoil, that living as a physical being entails. Let this world be a crucible to refine our souls so that we can enter back into eternity as what we were meant to be, the fruit of what love grows. Let’s help each other, and try to make things on earth as they would be in the heaven we can imagine. As above, so below.
Amen

The Deal is Real
Our dad was an advertising salesman, a pitchman of sorts, who sold you his marketing ideas.
Before that, as a commercial artist, he did all the copy and paste that was needed for the artwork of the advertisements, which he loved even more than his pitchman activities. He actually gave up a career in Dentistry, to follow his dreams of becoming a successful artist.
I think he fulfilled his dreams. I hope he fully realized it before he passed. He successfully provided for a healthy family of seven, with food on our table, a roof over our heads, and so many happy memories.
This song is in homage to our dad. We miss you! 💕

It stresses the importance of friendship, reassurance, encouragement, love and support for our children, so they can develop with self-confidence, love and respect for themselves and each other. And, to give them the emotional support they need to make our world a better place when they grow up.

The Devil’s at the Door
A contemporary portrayal of how evil tries to get thru the metaphorical door of our minds, and the metaphorical fix to prevent that.
Watch this modern tale, as the archetype of evil plans his destruction of the world, thinking he can fool all of the people of God.
Many familiar characters make their appearance- the Devil incarnate, the blind man, the carpenter, and even the four horsemen of the apocalypse, Conquest, War, Famine and Death.
But the Devil’s plan goes wrong. As most of the Devils’ victims succumb to the metaphorical apple of temptation, the carpenter finishes his work for the blind man, nailing shut the last horseman - “Death”, in with the Devil in his lair, unbeknownst to him. As the Devil executes his final move to bring Death to the world with his dark magic, the plan backfires, and he blows his own head off.
And we all lived happily ever after. The End.

There is no way to justify a world of insanity.
Choose love, and BE the change you want to see.
Dedicated to all of our first responders, our military, our healthcare workers, our teachers, and all of those who help to make the world a better place.
Also dedicated to our Aunt Mary & Uncle Tony Capriglione, both educators, and second parents to us. Sadly, Uncle Tony succumbed to vCJD in 2004, a human form of mad cow disease. There’s still no cure.
Aunt Mary passed peacefully in 2023.
