I'm back in my test app, going to work out the progress indicators for long running celery tasks triggered by HTMX. Ideally, we want HTMX to send the request, the server to respond with the initial progress bar, and some on page javascript to poll a progress view until the task is complete. I worked through 186 pre-commit errors, and tons of html errors, to get this project in perfect order for pushing to a server. Mwahahah! Last night we installed a prize wheel. We were able to knock out the rest of the available items and refactor the chest boxes to work with different chest sizes and probability weighting. This episode we are going to go after a few more items, mainly consumables. This will result in some updates to the monsters to be able to accept the items and their effects. If we have time I want to move into the move items that get attached to monsters. and then we can start attaching wearables. That's a lot to take on in one stream, lets see how far we can get!
