Tropical Storm Ana was downgraded last night to a Post-Tropical Cyclone, prompting the final advisory to be issued by the NHC.

Ana recently made the transition from a subtropical storm to fully tropical but it is quickly fading away and falling apart as it gets absorbed by multiple air masses and fronts. This pre-season tropical storm will continue its collapse in the midst of dry air and the cold waters of the North Atlantic, and will likely get downgraded by the National Hurricane Center this evening.

For the 7th Year in a row, the Atlantic Hurricane Season has at least one pre-season storm. It occurred earlier this morning with the development of Subtropical Storm Ana. The cyclone is nearly stationary to the northeast of Bermuda, prompting the NHC to issue a Tropical Storm Watch for the island.

Two disturbances, in orange and red have a 60% and 90% chance of formation, respectively. I would highly recommend this video to anyone living in or visiting Southeast Texas, Southwest Louisiana, or Bermuda.

Two disturbances have the potential to form into tropical cyclones. One of them is in the Atlantic and has nearly a 50-50 shot of beginning another early hurricane season. The other is just a few hundred miles off Mexico's West Coast and has a low chance of development. Both troughs have a small, yet non-zero likelihood of impacting land.

The Final Advisory on Tropical Depression Andres was issued last night after the NHC downgraded the disorganized system to a Remnant Low. This is the last Tropical Update until there is more activity to cover.

Andres is now a Tropical Depression with its imminent dissipation just around the corner.
