Claudette briefly restrengthens as it moves away from the U.S.

I didn't feel like making a video so here's generally what's going on.

Claudette and Dolores have both made landfall in the past 24 hours and are down to Tropical Depression as they spin inland over different parts of North America. There are no other tropical disturbances in any of the three basins at this time.

Thunderstorms coming down from Iowa could get active as they pass through our area late tonight. This comes on the heels of our first 100°F day in years!

The U.S. now faces tropical threats on both the Gulf and East Coasts, and possibly the West Coast if something very rare happens. Carlos is strengthening in the Pacific. However, it will not impact land.

A trough in the southern Gulf could become a major problem for the southern U.S. by the end of next week, Southern Mexico is still dealing with heavy rain from multiple tropical waves, and Tropical Depression Three has formed in the Eastern Pacific.

Concerns remain for Central America despite the Atlantic being cleared out. The coastal disturbance in the Eastern Pacific is still there and another disturbance has popped up.

Conditions are not looking as favorable for the two coastal disturbances, but mudslides and other hazards remain regardless of development.

Double Trouble for Central America as tropical disturbances are moving in from both oceans.

Clouds will continue to increase throughout the afternoon with scattered thunderstorms for the better part of the next 36 hours.

Blanca degenerated into a remnant low very early this morning. A disturbance in the Eastern Pacific has a high chance of development.

Tropical Depression Blanca is barely holding on and is showing signs that it will lose its tropical characteristics soon. Another disturbance has been spotted in the Eastern Pacific and was given a 20% chance by the NHC.

Blanca was downgraded this afternoon to a Tropical Depression. The disorganized storm is expected to lose its tropical characteristics tomorrow and fully dissipate within a few days. The new system, which was discussed in the previous video has begun to develop in the Caribbean. In tonight's Tropical Update, I go through various data such as satellite, models, and sea-surface temperatures.

Tropical Storm Blanca is weakening over the Eastern Pacific. The storm will fully dissipate by the end of the week. Today is the first day of the Atlantic and Central Pacific Hurricane Seasons. Watch the video to see the full list of names. I've identified the next potential disturbance. Regardless of development, it could have serious impact to much of Florida.

2 new disturbances in the Eastern Pacific.

Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms, associated with a former Invest in the Gulf of Mexico will be headed our way late Tuesday into Wednesday. After that, another round of thunderstorms, possibly severe this time are expected on Thursday.
