"A Home For God" - Is. 66:1 - Part 2 - (www.reallife7.org)
Throughout the ages of mankind, God has ordained dwelling places to be with His people. It started in the Garden of Eden, but tragically, that ended when Adam and Eve sinned and blew it for the human race. But God didn't stop in His quest for a home with His creation. The Tabernacle came next...then Solomon's Temple.....then the Temple in Jesus' day......and finally, the Holy Spirit came to make God's home in man's heart once "whosoever will" repented and believed on Jesus. The finality of this theme of God will end when we are in our perfect home with Him one day.....HEAVEN

"Grace That's So Amazing" - Romans 5:20-21 - Part 2 - (www.reallife7.org)
Grace. It's so amazing isn't it. It doesn't make sense that One person who was perfect and sinless would take the place of myriads of people who are sinful, vile and dirty. 2 different acrostics, for GRACE, that have been around for awhile and no one knows who the original authors were, summarize it best---"God's Riches At Christ's Expense" and "God's Redemption At Christ's Expense" In part 2 of this message, we will look at "cast our sins into the sea" and "free from accusation".

"Waiting" - Psalms 27:14, Isaiah 40:28-31 (www.reallife7.org)
Waiting on God. How many of us just "love" to do that??? Raise your hand. How many "don't like" waiting in life....raise both hands. Mine are held high. God's timing is different than ours. God knows what He is doing and knows what the right time is for everything in our life. God is sovereign, which means He has the right to exercise His ruling power over us for our good and His glory. Our sovereign God has appointed times for everything throughout the time we live on His earth. When we wait, Isaiah says we "renew our strength". Waiting acts to deepen our faith and trust and dependance on God in every circumstance and happening in life.

"Resurrection - Love - Life - Liberty" - Luke 24: 1-7 - Part 2 - (www.reallife7.org)
Resurrection...death brought forth life. Jesus is the only person who has ever died......rose again from the dead......and lives forever more. Slain from the foundation of the world, the God/Man came to earth at the appointed time ordained by His Father. Jesus was "despised and rejected by men....a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief". He came to die for every single human who has ever lived. Came to die for the impossible debt of sin that none of us could ever pay. "Living He loved me--Dying He saved me---Buried He carried carried my sins far away--Rising He justified, freely forever---One day He's coming, oh glorious day"

"That Time - It's Here" - 2 Tim 3:1-5, 4:3-4 - (www.reallife7.org)
The last days indicators are all around us and become more obvious with every passing day. Blantant scoffing of God and everything holy. Disobedience to parents at a level never seen before in a culture. People are acting religious, but they reject the power of God that can save them and change their lives. Jesus Christ is the only answer, but of all the names spoken today, His is the most hated by those who have never met Him or received Him. We are also at a time when mankind is openly rejecting sound biblical doctrine. They don't want to hear the truth that will liberate their souls....they want only to hear what they want to hear, that which will make them feel good and not convicted over their sin.

"Pride Loses - Humility Wins" James 4:6,10 - (www.reallife7.org)
Pride! It's a hideous thing to our Christian life. In fact, it's a hideous thing to any life. We can all be affected by it if we are not careful. Of the 7 things the Lord hates in Pro 6:16-19, the first one that is mentioned is "haughty eyes". This is pride in the proverbial sense. Pride can "eat our lunch" spiritually, mentally, emotionally and of course, spiritually. We all have to deal with it, but we certainly don't have to hang on to it. We must face it, confess it and ask God to deliver us from it. As the Apostle James reminds us "God opposes the proud, but give grace to the humble". What a beautiful promise to all of us.....God gives us tons of His grace when we walk in humility.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=seD3wiJU6lg
As believers in Jesus Christ, we are kept by the power of God. Our salvation is secure after we repent of our sins and believe by faith in the finished work of Christ for us on the cross. We are held eternally by the hand of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and are sealed by the precious Holy Spirit who lives inside us. The days we live in are dark, but always remember what Jesus said to his disciples at the end of the Great Commision in Mt 28:20, "And be sure of this, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

"The Greatest Of These" - I Cor. 13:1-7,13 - (www.reallife7.org)
Love. Paul gives a picture perfect definition of love in I Cor 13. Real love is not a sentiment emotion, it is a word of action. Jesus tells us in Mark 12:31 to "love our neighbor as yourself". Loving others doesn't come easy, at times, but with the help and power of the Holy Spirit within us we CAN love well. God is honored when we love others and we are blessed too. Love can break a subborn heart.....calm a troubled situation......restore a relationship that is broken......and encourage someone who is hurting and feeling all alone. May we love well and show this troubled world that they can "know that we are
Christians by our love" and that this love of God is available to them also.

"Bethlehem - Little And Great" - Luke 2:8-12 - (www.reallife7.org)
Oh little town of Bethlehem. What happened in that miniscule town over 2000 years ago changed the world forever. Darkness was dispelled by the Light of the World. From a little baby came the fulfillment of hope from ages past. God became flesh and dwelt among the earth. Joy to the world, the LORD has come. Jesus had a birth....and Jesus had a death, but His death and His resurrection is the hope for this old, decaying world. Anyone's darkness, gloom, depair, hopelessness and emptiness of life can be dispelled by Jesus Christ who waits for that one or all that will repent of their sins and turn to Him only for eternal life. "Oh come let us adore Him, Christ the Lord"

"Peace Of Mind" - Isaiah 26:3 - www.reallife7.org
Peace of mind. Who doesn't want that especially as we think about the times we are living in. Our minds can race from one experience, thought, worry, anxiousness, uncertainty, despair and hopelessness faster than a Nascar at Daytona Speedway. What recourse has God given believers in Christ to hold on to in these volatile and uncertain times that we live? It is a mind fixed on God, on Christ, and what He/They can do in our circumstances instead of a mind that is left to itself and it's human thoughts which can pull us in such diverse directions. Perfect peace. It is available and the prophet Isaiah tells us so.

"How's" That Forgiveness Thing Going" - Mt 18:21-35 - Part 2 - (www.reallife7.org)
Forgiving others. Sometimes we all struggle with that. We have been hurt, demeaned, ridiculed, put down, and/or just overtly offended by someone and it has eaten our emotional lunch. As believers in Jesus, of all people, we must continue, by God's power in us, to forgive those who offend us. Jesus in this parable in Mt 18 confronts all of us with the question....."Will you forgive this person?" If we do practice forgiveness, we will experience the continued abundant life in Christ. If we don't, there will be part of our life that will be consumed with ever present bitterness and frustration until we do.

After salvation, we all continually need the grace of God in our lives and we
most certainly love the peace that He gives to our hearts and souls as we
walk through this troubled world. What more could we ask for being God's children....a continual supply of grace and peace is put before us each day as we internalize God's Word and depend upon the Holy Spirit to do His

"When God Laughs At AI" - Psalm 2:1-4 (www reallife7 org)
Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) is exploding on the scene of planet earth. Every part of the globe is touched by it. Nearly every person on earth is affected by it. There are many useful things that A.I. can and will do to help mankind, but
there are also evil and sinister things that will come out of it. Man will attempt to believe that he is as powerful as God as A.I. accentuates itself in the coming days and near future. This is when God will laugh at A.I. When it attempts to take the place of God and His power. This will never happen and man will meet with his eventual demise.

"The Deterrent Of Discipline" - Ecc 8:11 - (www.reallife7.org)
Discipline - "The practice of training people to obey rules or a code of behavior using punishment to correct disobedience". It seems our country is greatly lacking in discipline today. We have criminals and lawbreakers decimating our major cities and larger communities. They are flagrant in their disobedient and unlawful behavior without much thought of facing any consequences for their actions. The answer is "ole fashion" discipline and punishment which served us well in the decades past. Criminals and lawbreaker must know that they will be penalized for their actions no matter what. Only then will we enjoy a safer society again.

Are they things that seem unimportant.....insignificant......bottom of the rung.....not worthwhile or worthy of garnishing any attention? God delights and confounds us with "small things". What we sometimes don't pay close attention to, God does or more importantly, God ordains for His purposes. As the song goes....."Little becomes much as we place it in the Master's hand"

"Can You Be Still" - Psalm 46:10-11 - (www.reallife7.org)
Being still before God is a challenge for any Christian, especially in the time that we live. High speed this.....instant that......perpetual motion from daylight to dark. We are by nature always moving about with our body and mind. God calls us to "Be still" and "Stand still" for a reason. He has things in store and things He wants to reveal to us when we practice and carry out being still before Him. Lord, teach us afresh how to do that each day as we come before You with our burdens and needs.
