Inspired by the WW2 Raider Bowie, design to be everything a Bowie knife was meant to be. About 16.25” overall, with a cutting edge of 9.25.” The weight is about 1.669 lbs. Blade stock is 3/16”. This first drop will have green G10 scales with coyote/orange liners. Hoping to have another drop soon with a quality stainless or corrosion resistant carbon steel in a satin finish, paired with a brown or green burlap or canvas micarta.

From the website “combat relics” U.S. Marine Raider “GUNG-HO” Knife Original WWII U.S. Marine Raider “Gung-Ho” knife. One of approximately 1000 knives manufactured in the summer of 1943 in New Zealand under the auspice of Evans C. Carlson (Son of Evans F. Carlson, Commander of Carlson’s Raiders) the for the 1st Bn., 21st Marines. The knife is constructed from Australian carbon steel with a cast aluminum alloy handle that was painted green. Some of the original green paint still remains on the handle, but it often quickly wore off. The knife is complete with an original leather scabbard, and tied into the leg tong is an original piece of Pacific beach coral, a popular memento Marines adorned their personal equipment and souvenirs with. The overall condition of the set is carried and genuinely used, but complete without any damage and a nice blade. Full of original patina that has never been cleaned. Release/ Drop date will be sometime around September of 2023. Expect to have approximately 100 unity available. SK85 steel and more than likely green g10 scales with a kydex sheath. 3/16” / 5mm blade stock. * I forgot something about the choil. I had the grind start after the choil so there will be more material places where your index finger could contact, also more stand-off from a sharp edge.

27.4 lbs and 42.5” long. Here’s a video I used to reference. I predrilled mine and used about 5 or 6 drywall screws. Try to set it somewhere where you can support the stick to make it level. I used a vertical 2x4 in my shed to eyeball it. Make sure the concrete gets packed and they are good and let it dry for a couple days.
