Set on the shores of the lagoon, Tidal Wave is a giant swinging boat ride. At the highest point of 66 feet, guests experience a feeling of weightlessness as the boat reaches its true vertical position. The Tidal Wave opened in 1980. I was only 11 but I was there for the grand opening. What's crazy is its still there today in 2021 and its just as magical. I encourage all thrill seekers to sit on the very end. Oh Boy!! This wonderful dark ride located at Lagoon Amusement Park was opened in 1974. Designed by Bill Tracy. I remember this ride when I was a kid in the 70's and 80's. Always fun. Enjoy.

If you have ever been to Disneyland then you might remember the Skyway. It opened in June 1956 and closed Nov 1994. What a sad day it was when it closed. Good News is, Lagoon in Farmington Utah has one. It's called the SkyTram. Amazing good time.
