This is the mock funding trailer my film school had me do for one of my projects. It is based on a true story of my families beginnings here in Canada from Ireland during the mass starvation of the potato famine in the 1800's. They left Ireland and all they knew and sailed to Canada aboard the wooden sailing ship called "Harmony

Here is my first commercial I shot on a Canon 6D with a shot gun mic, no lighting just sunlight and no crew. Just a barebones project to get me started in my pursuit of building a video business from nothing and no money and just a dream of one day being paid to produce videos.

Here is one of my first year film projects, and my first short film/doc Filmed entirely at Bosa Film Center for Motion Picture Arts and Capilano University in North Vancouver BC Canada. Inspired by my daughter Mikayla May Burgess, who was also a student in the 2 year costume design degree at Capilano University Film School, it was one of many docs I filmed in my one year Documentary film school course in 2016 It was a ton of fun to film and gave me a lot of insight into what my daughter saw and found passion in doing. Sadly Mikayla is not in this video as we are estranged and have zero communication. It is a tribute to her and my way of telling the world how proud I am of her! I was very blessed to have such talented people such as Kursin Bain,to work with and to tell a great behind the scenes story of theater and film costume production. So much work for such little time seen, incredible dedication from costume designers such as Mikayla Burgess and Kurstin Bain.
