This black backed Lynx kitten has grown so big.... he loves to play fight with Mama!
Mama Lynx and her seven kittens came to visit us in September in Alaska. They returned to play in the snow. This black backed kitten is the largest of all the siblings - and he was fascinated with being on top of our deck table... ready to pounce on any unsuspecting sibling or even Mama!

A Mama Lynx and her SEVEN kittens visited us last September. Tim Newton, a photographer in Alaska, captured the family as they all lined up on the outside deck! Tim took pictures of them as they romped and played on the deck and in the yard! They returned after a winter snowfall to again frolic and play with Mama on the deck. Videos were captured by Tim's wife, Cathy. They were still all alive and well! (The remaining two kittens were playing in the yard with Mama!) Mama Lynx and her kittens play in the snow! This was their second visit after the Mother and seven kittens visited our deck in Alaska back in September! Mama shaking her head at the end is so funny! She lets her youngster know she is boss. These kittens are complete rascals!

Mama and her kittens (7 were with her) frolic and roughhouse with each other on our deck in Alaska! They first visited this fall and now, they have returned once again in the snow to play!
