Teens arrested after driving on pride mural painted in road
Yet another LGBTQ+ celebratory mural has been defaced. This time, a crosswalk painted in the colors of the pride flag was brutally and cruelly defaced by malicious teens who thought that, apparently, it was ok to drive over it.
Spokane, Washington was the scene for this outburst of malice that has left literally some people reeling. The driving-related hate incident saw tire marks left on the road and even some ‘black scuff marks’ left by a small scooter heinously driving on a road, of all places.
Lime, the company responsible for the hate-scooter’s rental, has announced that it will be electronically prohibiting their scooters from entering designated pride murals, marking them as a ‘no-go zone.’ Any rider attempting to enter a forbidden gay zone will be forced to walk their scooter to an appropriately heterosexual area before continuing.
Meanwhile, three teenagers have been booked over the vicious crime. Lime’s director of government relations, an important and necessary role to have for a small scooter rental company, said that ‘we will not let the hateful few spoil the joy of Pride Month™ in Spokane, and are grateful for those working to make Spokane more welcoming for all.’ Unless you’re a teenager riding a scooter on a road, then it’s off to jail where you belong.

TikToker hides in Walmart shelves to eat ‘free’ raw dough
A TikToker has caused a stir, and some understandable confusion, by proudly filming herself hiding inside some shelves at Walmart, scarfing raw cinnamon roll dough. As the video goes on, ‘veha2fine’ progresses to eating muffins and giant marshmallows, having seemingly swapped chewing for maniacal laughter.
The reaction to this stunt, as you might expect, was mixed. Some praised it as a genius move and asked for a tutorial (although why do you need a tutorial for going to Walmart and eating?), while others wondered if the TikToker was having an ‘episode,’ and some straight up called for her to be arrested.

Draft officers fight with paramedics after refusing to let them leave with patient
An off-duty ambulance driver in Odessa arrived at the city’s recruitment office to update his details on Tuesday, in what should have been a routine visit, but ended up as a street brawl. Upon updating his details, draft officers refused to let the man leave the building, reportedly attempting to conscript him. The man was taken ill due to the stress of his ordeal, and an ambulance was called to assist him.
When the paramedics arrived, however, the draft officers refused to let them take the man to hospital, instead attempting to keep them in the building. This escalated into a fight in the street, at which point other people decided they might as well join in. Other paramedics can be seen engaging in the fight, one of them with a bat.

Trash thrown at Farage on campaign
The UK’s Nigel Farage is back on the campaign trail, and you know what that means. Yes, more people are throwing things at him, but this time, it’s dairy free. Farage was already being heckled by Stand Up To Racism protesters, however, he stood up to them. One disgruntled protester was more enraged than the rest that Farage had chosen to do a spot of mild bus riding in the northern town of Barnsley, sporting a look of disgust on his face. Or perhaps he just looks like that.
It’s unclear whether milkshake technology has made its way to Yorkshire, but in any case, this protester broke with tradition – his weapon of choice was a lump of trash from a nearby construction site. He hurled it with all his might at the Farage visage, narrowly missing. Annoyed, he returned to the trash, finding a new weapon: an empty pot of something. He was tackled first by the construction workers for being annoying, and then by a squad of British policemen, who detained him for possession of lumps of miscellaneous detritus without a license (and public order offenses).

Riots in France after right-wing EU election victory
They warned us there would be violence if the ‘far-right’ were elected. They were right.
Riots erupted across France after the recent European elections, with left-wing activists taking to the streets to protest. What were they protesting? Intact windows and uncovered faces, by the look of things. Strasbourg, Bordeaux, Nantes and Paris all saw unrest, with police in some areas forced to use tear gas to stop the protesters from throwing any more furniture through café frontages.
You know, to stop the far-right from turning violent.

Biden unable to move or speak at Juneteenth celebration
Joe Biden masterminded his latest and greatest masterplan yesterday in order to celebrate Juneteenth the only way he knows how. The plan was as follows:
1. Stay completely and utterly motionless
2. Do not, under any circumstances, respond to stimuli.
Biden successfully executed this plan to perfection, until rudely interrupted by George Floyd’s brother, who introduced an unexpected fist bump into proceedings. Fortunately, there was a plan B, to be immediately put in action, once the music had stopped:
1. Say something incomprehensible
Biden gave an address following the Juneteenth concert, and once again proved that no one can deliver a speech like Biden. ‘She no lost, she knew sharlorge ujshuj waszhen ied,’ he said.
His work done, he slowly shuffled away.
