Classical Music 🎶🎵 Soprano and Conductor
Conductor & Soprano Yael Cherni is founder and former director of the “Kan Kol Hamusica” radio station, the only Israeli radio station dedicated to classical music in Israel. Prizewinner of the 2009 Biennial Prize for Promising Young Conductors, founded by Maestro Gary Bertini and the Israel Ministry of Culture. Ms. Cherni has performed as a conductor and soprano all over the world, including serving as assistant conductor to Maestro Claudio Abbado. She has been a visiting lecturer at a number of notable institutions, including Harvard university and Shenkar College. As a soprano, Ms. Cherni sang with the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra, Birmingham Orchestra, the Israel Chamber Orchestra, the Haifa Symphony Orchestra, the Rishon Lezion Orchestra, the IBA Symphony Orchestra, and the Beersheba Sinfonietta.
