We had a remote cabin that was built by Dad years ago. It hadn't been getting a lot of use, so was taken over by rodents. There was a coal range in the cabin, but it wasn't working. It was just smoking up the cabin. We decided to clean the cabin out and improve it. We will use what we have.

A quiet drive through a forest plantation.

These giant Sequoia trees are amazing. The General Sherman tree is the largest tree in the world, by volume. It stands 84 meters tall, has a 31 meter circumference, and a diameter of 11 meters. It's largest branch has a diameter of 2 meters.

My brother and I wanted to build a remote cabin on some land we owned. So used a Komatsu D21A bulldozer to clear some of the land, then built the cabin with materials that we had available.

I came across these little critters playing while on a trek in a forest at Payson, Arizona.
