Is There Only One Way to God | Dr. David Jeremiah
Jesus' claim of exclusivity is one of the biggest obstacles many people face when considering Christianity. In our age of pluralism and "tolerance," the question "Is there only one way to God?" is perhaps the most volatile question we could ask or be asked.

The Noah Factor | Dr. David Jeremiah
Pastor Jeremiah gives a message of warning to a cavalier, careless and corrupt generation.
Matthew 24: 36-42
36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark;
39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.
41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.
42 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.

Walking in the Light | Dr. David Jeremiah
LIGHT AND DARK
"Paul contrasts light (the Christian life) with darkness (life outside of Christ). Think for a moment about the properties of light: Light illuminates; light separates (from darkness); light causes growth; light exposes. If your life were exposed to the light of God’s truth and holiness, what would it reveal? That would be a rather unpleasant prospect for the saintliest person. All of us have dark corners—attitudes, thoughts, desires—that we would not want illuminated before God or anyone else.
Thankfully, the light of God’s holiness shines through the filter of His grace. Reflect for a moment on those thoughts and deeds you would not want that light to reveal … and thank God that He has mercifully covered those sins with the cross. Take steps to remove any immoral behavior from your life."

New Lifestyle | Dr. David Jeremiah
NEW AND IMPROVED
In direct contrast to the preceding description of the unregenerate person, Paul next described the new life of the believer. He wrote of:
• our NEW MINDS: “But that isn’t what you were taught when you learned about Christ. Surely you heard of him and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. You were taught … to be renewed in the spirit of your minds.”
• our NEW HEARTS: “[You were taught] to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires.”
• our NEW BEHAVIOR: “Clothe yourselves with the new self, created according to the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.”
From darkened minds, hearts, and behavior, to new ones—this is the stark contrast from the old self to the new. Does your life reflect this contrast, the marks of the new life of the believer? Are there evidences of it in your thinking, desires, will, and behavior?

Walking in Love | Dr. David Jeremiah
Behavioral scientists have discovered an interesting phenomenon called “imprinting” in the early development of some animals. At certain critical stages, whatever other animal, object, or person the young animal is exposed to is taken to be its “parent.” If a young goose is “imprinted” with a dog, the gosling will see the dog as its mother.
Paul says that such imprinting should happen in Christian growth. We should walk so closely with Jesus that He imprints on us His nature: loving, serving, sacrificing, pleasing to God the Father. Stay close to Him through Bible study, prayer, fellowship, and evangelism so that you are always in a position to be transformed into His image.

New Habits for Old | Dr. David Jeremiah
The Apostle Paul refers to the sin nature which is set on a course of corruption. Don’t try to reform. You won’t succeed. Any person’s only hope is a new self “created” by God. As Eph. 2:1–10 reminds us, this new creation takes place when we believe in Jesus.
Now it is up to us to decide whether we will follow the pull of old, sinful desires or respond to the new self’s pull toward righteousness. God won’t force you to be godly. But if you choose righteousness, He will enable you. -- L. O. Richards

The "Oneness" of our Faith | Dr. David Jeremiah
Pastor Jeremiah teaches that the LORD's priority is for unity to be maintained in the family of believers.
Ephesians 4:1-6: I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. NIV

At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other. Matthew 24:10
Jesus warned that such severe persecution may lead to the defection of some members. The fear and persecution will be so intense that people will betray and hate each other in order to keep themselves safe. It will not be popular or respectable to be a Christian. It will be dangerous. -- Bruce B. Barton

3: Living in a War-Torn World | Dr. David Jeremiah
You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. for nations will rise against nations, and kingdoms against kingdoms. Matthew 24:6-7
Jesus prepared His followers for a difficult passage of time before His return. As political situations worsen, as wars ravage the world, Jesus’ disciples and all His followers should not be terrified that somehow God has lost control or that His promises will not come true.
Just as false messiahs and religious frauds come and go, so do political and natural crises. Even when the world seems to be in chaos, God is in control. Such things must happen as part of God’s divine plan. -- Bruce B. Barton
