Custom Kydex Lab: Blocking the mold and pressing the holster
After finishing the construction of our book press, we then had to build the mold we intended to use for our holster. I opted to make a Level-2 styled retention holster for a Springfield XD-9 Mod2.0, Sub-Compact. For retention I planned on using a retention screw near the trigger guard, as well as a Safariland locking strap over the rear of the slide. For attachment, I opted to use a Safariland QLS mounting fork. Both of the hardware items required custom blocking to be made to mount them correctly to the holster. This is the first holster I've pressed, so feel free to leave your comments and suggests down below!

SDI Muzzleloader Lab: Part 1
In this video, we begin the process of inletting the percussion lock assembly, as well as the butt plate and toe plate of the Traditions Shenandoah muzzleloader build kit. This is the first time I've performed inletting, so its not the prettiest job. Any constructive criticism is much appreciated.
