July 28th Garden update. Quite a few things have changed, so let's take a look at how things are progressing.

Japanese Beetles have taken over a wild grape vine on my fence line! Let's see if Sevin Spray can knock them out.

We got squash and onions! Also some new plants have been acquired.

A continuation of the discussion around why I have chosen to run for the position of Precinct Delegate. Life is short so when action needs to be taken, now is the only time to act. We MUST stop the Republican Party from becoming the Diet Democratic Party. We must change the direction and if the grassroots is the only way we can reliably make this happen, then we have to start there.

My special needs daughter walked across the graduation stage BY HERSELF! That may not seem like a big thing to most people, but for her, it was a huge accomplishment. She needs help doing almost everything in life, but she was able to do this and her mother and I are so proud of her. BTW, I wasn't crying... You were crying. 😭

This is one of the coolest places to visit for photography, camping, hiking, and just downright awesome scenery! It's like a different planet! I loved the trip we took here last year and would love to go do it again!

So I was burning old wood and yard scraps in the fire pit and, well this started happening. I think it was the galvanized layer of the grate I was using, but I've never seen that before.
