The Impact of Diet and Environment with Dr Sarah Myhill
Well, this episode from the amazing Dr Myhill has got me two YouTube bans!!
The full version wasn’t even published and got me a 7 day ban and now they have decided to give me a 15 day ban for the edited version that had already been up over a month!
Freedom of speech has diminished at an alarming rate…so thank you for being here so you can hear exactly what my guests wish to sayDr Sarah Myhill is a naturopathic physician, member of the British Society for Ecological Medicine, former GP, and the most investigated person by the British Medical Council. Dr Myhill joins Philly this week on The Wellness Way to discuss her new book Green Mother, her time as a GP, what she’s learned about ecological medicine, and just why she became so infamous with the medical establishment.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
While working as a GP for many years, Dr Myhill learned that the impact of diet and environment were so much more important at getting to the real cause of illness, rather than medicine that just suppresses symptoms. She even got in trouble with the General Medical Council for under prescribing medication because they thought if she wasn’t just giving out drugs then she must be a bad doctor.
It’s Dr Myhill’s view that all information should be freely available, which is why she started putting her ideas up on her website so people could read about how they could heal themselves with vitamins and minerals etc.
The starting point to treat all diseases is diet. If you over eat too many sugars and carbohydrates you overwhelm the ability of the upper gut to sterilise and develop an upper fermenting gut.
Microbes from the gut can get into the bloodstream and if these are the microbes from the fermenting gut, it can cause illness and allergic reactions.
Milk is a risk factor for cancer. Milk proteins are growing proteins which evolutionarily makes sense because young animals need to grow. Milk proteins also create sticky blood which is a risk factor for heart disease.
BEST MOMENTS
‘Modernen medicine is not about looking for the root cause of disease, it’s about symptom suppression with drugs’
‘It’s Myhill 38 - GMC 0, I’ve won every single one of my investigations’
‘Statins are one of my most hated drugs’
‘A patient came to me and said she’d forgotten how it felt to feel well’

Free Things You Can Do For Your Health with Dr Catherine Clinton
What have you done for your health?
Do you get enough of the sun?
Disccus Below!
If you feel like leaving last year behind you and stepping into a whole new world of health, then today's guest is a perfect person to listen to as she chats with Philly through all the wonderful, predominantly free things that you can do for your health. Dr. Catherine Clinton is a licensed naturopathic physician with a focus on gut autoimmunity and she is a psychoneuroimmunologist. She's here to advise on all things germs and microbes to the best time to expose yourself to the sun.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
Dr. Catherine is passionate about the connections we have with the world around us and how these connections can regenerate our health and the health of the planet. She sees an urgent need for healing our internal terrain. As well as healing the terrain of the world we live in.
The Germ theory camp led by Louis Pasteur ascribed to the belief that each germ causes one disease, one germ causes one disease. The biologists and physiologists looking at Terrain theory are talking about how the environment around the cell or organism or microbe dictates what that organism is going to do.
We live in fear of these germs and bacteria and fungi, but we're made up of them. That's what we are. We are actually nature. We've separated ourselves from that connection to nature and are being taught to fear it and that it’s the cause of our illnesses.
We have reconfigured the natural ecosystem around us into this hierarchy with us on top. Hands on our hip and microscope in hand. This is probably why our energy in the world is quite low at the moment. We are seeing sickness and disease run rampant.
Sunlight is an energy source for our bodies but we’re taught that it is dangerous for our skin. Sunlight is so essential for our mental health and wellbeing but we’re being brainwashed to cover our skin with toxic sunscreens. The skin is the biggest organ of the body and absorbs everything you put on it.
BEST MOMENTS
‘One minute of fear hits the immune system for six to seven hours, whereas one minute's laughter boosts the immune system for 24 hours’
‘Western science has really taken over the stage when it comes to science globally, and the way that they do it is really by removing and elevating the human above all else’
‘The sun is forming our biology, it's boosting our mitochondrial function’

As the subject of numerous malicious headlines by the usual mainstream media suspects after she spoke out during the so-called pandemic, Rachel tears into what she calls the 'trap' of today's world, how she believes we are deliberately deterred from discovering the truth about our deeper, more spiritual nature through the demonisation of plant medicine, the sabotage of our democratic processes and so, so much more.

Trauma Release and Masculine and Feminine Energy with Suzanne Jane Taylor
It’s one Milly Philly, that’s right one of Philly’s latest TikToks has reached one million views. The clip is from an earlier podcast with Dr John Gray and it got over three thousand comments, and a fair few of them were from women who weren't too pleased with what Dr John Gray had to say around women, orgasms, and vibrators. That’s why this week Philly is joined on The Wellness Way by Suzanne Jane Taylor, Trauma release, Emotional Detox practitioner, Soma Breath, and Intimacy Coach.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
Philly met Suzanne after the man they were both in love with passed away, they decided to meet up and talk about him. Over a drink Philly discovered that Suzanne worked in trauma relief relating to sex and orgasms.
People who grow up and live in survival use the masculine as armor against trauma. This armor ends up being a form of repressing your energy.
As women we need a man to be masculine and lead, this allows us to feel safe and surrender into our feminine mode. When polarity works, it works beautifully. Even in same sex couples you get one more dominant partner, it’s the yin and yang of the universe.
No one wants to be with someone controlling and who tells you what to do. There is a difference between being subservient to a man and surrendering into femininity. It’s about allowing a man to lead.
Inverted polarity is when a man is in his feminine energy and the woman is in her masculine energy.
There are five G spots on women other than the clitoris. One is close to the anus, one is on the front wall inside, one above and one below the cervix, and the fifth one only appears after orgasm.
BEST MOMENTS
‘The pelvis is the only other part of our body other than the head that acts as a basin’
‘Any kind of pressure and breath work can potentially release trauma’
‘Over-stimulation of the clitoris can lead to reduced sensitivity, it’s about a balance’
‘When you release trauma it feels like a ball of energy traveling through you’

ABOUT THE GUEST
Suzanne is a Trauma release, Emotional Detox practitioner, Soma Breath, and Intimacy Coach
She is the founder of Soma sutra school of healing and awakening and has expanded her knowledge and understanding to include Intimacy and connection coaching.
Suzanne has over 27 years of experience is various forms of bodywork including Tantric and Tao bodywork
For as long as I can remember I was aware of something about my energy that separated me from the people around me and always knew that I had healing hands. Throughout my career as a bodywork practitioner, clients would always comment about how much better they felt from my touch.
Growing up I used to feel other people’s physical pain and emotions. My mother told me it was sympathy pain, and I grew up thinking it was normal and was something that every human experienced. It wasn’t until in my 20’s when I became a full-time therapist that I realized that I wasn’t something that every person experienced.
As the years went on this energy and other ESP experiences grew and expanded and I began what would be years of search and study in different healing modalities to find the right fit for my energy.
Finally, after a period of prolonged meditation for several years of looking inward for answers I was contacted by a healer from Greece who later became my first Tantric healing mentor and was able to teach me many aspects of the Kundalini energy that I had been working with. After a year of mentorship, I wanted to deepen my knowledge and skill, which is when I found a training school in London that met all the depths of knowledge and training that I was looking for. Finally, I felt like I had come home and somewhere that understood the depths of what I felt from others and this is where my career as a healer and intimacy coach really began. I have been lucky enough to have worked with several brilliant mentors who understand my energy.
The hands-on treatments that I offer go deep, and into the very core of a person’s trauma or blockages. Clients come to see me for a variety of reasons, ranging from trauma, grief, fear, spiritual awakening, exploring sensuality, expansion of boundaries to name but a few. I treat both male and female clients and the aim is to enable that person to overcome whatever may be stopping them living in a joyful and happy way and being able live life to the full
Deep held emotions trapped in the body are responsible for many blockages that can lead to health and emotional issues further down the line. This is where this multi-discipline ancient technique can really help release and heal what may even be from as early as birth or from the womb.

Sleep & Autophagy
I've had many messages recently from people who are struggling with sleep which is absolutely fundamental to our health. There are many important benefits to getting enough sleep including something called autophagy otherwise known as mitigating motor complexes. Find out about this and so much more in this episode of The Wellness Way on sleep with a bonus Fasterclass meditation at the end.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
Autophagy or MMC is the process of the body cleaning up the cells and taking out the trash. We have a brand new cellular body every seven years. During MMC, older, damaged, and dying cells are consumed and eaten and recycled for energy and are replaced by newer, healthier cells.
Disruption of autophagy is caused by sleep deprivation and leads to defective oxidative stress management, accumulation of cellular waste, and eventually this will lead to dis-ease.
Today I have decided to release another episode from the Wellness Way Fasterclass series, Your Natural Wellness Journey, that covers sleep. My main reason for releasing this episode is that I would also love to share with you my sleep meditation from my album, the Wellness Awakening, which you can find on my website linked below.
BEST MOMENTS
‘Of all the meditations I’ve recorded, this is the most precious to me’
‘My guardian angel will take them away and send me a gift in exchange’
