Storm Of The Century - Part Three of Three - 1999 - TV Mini Series - Horror/Thriller/Fantasy - HD
Third and final part of another Mini Series from the writing of Stephen King - this was originally broadcast between 14th and 18th February 1999.
This one was not based on a novel, but was an original screenplay produced for TV.
As always by Mr King - a fantastic, and strange tale, that is a favorite both of Mr King and myself.
Have left it as the original three parts, as they are a manageable watching length.
Resolution increased to HD.
Is rated as a PG-13.

Blast Off Buzzard - Backyard Buzzards - 1977 Cartoon Short - Episode Nine - HD
Ninth Episode of the cartoon series "Blast Off Buzzard" from 1977.
This was aired on 5th Nov 1977, and was number 9 of 13 made.
The show was part of the series CB Bears - which consisted of six different short cartoons, all which kind of spoofed another show.
Blast Off Buzzard was clearly a spoof of the Looney Tunes characters Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner.
Great fun cartoons, as are all of the CB Bears shorts - unfortunately no copies of the part called "Undercover Elephant" seem to exist at the moment.
And I have already posted all the "Shake, Rattle And Roll" episodes that I have, so please no asks for more - if I get more I will post them.

Benson - Season 2 Episode 4 - Masquerade - 1980 - HD
Continuing the spin off show from "Soap", with butler Benson in the lead role.
In this episode.......
Governor Gatling is having a $100 per plate dinner to raise money for a hospital in a third world country.
Among the guests is the Ambassador of the country who is bringing The Golden Monkey, a statue, which is made of solid gold, and some revolutionaries are wanting to steal the monkey for the monetary value to their cause.
Everyone at the mansion is wearing fancy dress for the occasion, and Benson, dressed as a pirate, is mistaken for one of the bad guys, who is dressed the same way, by another of them.
So Gatling, and all at the mansion, agree it is now up to Benson to thwart the theft, even though doing so could represent great danger to himself.
Benson is understandably less than impressed by the plan..........

So ensues some crazy searching of the mansion from top to bottom.....
This marks the first - of three - appearances by Jerry Seinfeld in the show.

Space Patrol - S01E15 - 14th July 1963 - The Planet Of Thought - TV Show - 720p
Fifteenth broadcast episode of the puppet/marionette show from 1963, which was called "Planet Patrol" in the US.
Similar to the Gerry Anderson shows, Fireball XL5 and Supercar from around the same time - this show looks dated now, but is still quite fun to watch.
I am uploading in the order that the episodes were broadcast, so this may differ from some later DVD order.
In this episode called "The Planet of Thought"...
Tyro, the Queen of Neptune, visits Earth to place an order for robots, to do the work on their planet.
Col. Raeburn is happy to get an order for 10,000 robots, but less happy that Tyro hypnotises Marla - his secretary - and abducts her back to Neptune, to use as a pretty ornament.
Raeburn enlists Dart and Heggarty to come up with a plan to thwart their mind power, and rescue Marla...........

Fifth episode of a new/old favourite show of mine - Being Erica - this episode originally aired in Canada in 2009 on Feb 2nd - and stars Erin Karpluk as Erica Strange and Michael Riley as Dr. Tom.
The show focuses on Erica going back to key moments in her past - and how she can change perception of any regrets.
In this episode she goes back to a chidlhood moment as a 13 year old, and Samantha Weinstein, as the younger Erica, makes a good fist of stealing the show.

Millington(Jean & June) - Bird In Flight - 1977 - Ladies On The Stage - Album Track - HD
A track from the 1977 album "Ladies On The Stage", from the Millington sisters Jean & June from just a few years after the breakup of Fanny.
They hadn't lost any of their magic, and this was a fine album.
The track was "Bird In Flight", track nine of the ten the album contained.
Three singles were released - this wasn't one - but is probably still the one I like the most.
This was the only early album that wasn't named after June Millington only, although three other albums with both sisters names came out between 1993 and 2011.
In between June had three solo titles, from 1981 to 1988.
Maybe some more to be uploaded soon.
Meanwhile, in case you were unaware of the stroke that struck down Jean a few short years ago - a fundraiser page was started to help her out.
If you can help, the link is here:

Nickey Barclay - Didn't I - 1976 - Diamond In A Junkyard - Album Track - HD
My favourite track from the only solo release - at least under her Fanny name - from ex Fanny keyboard player and singer Nickey Barclay.
Album was released in 1976 and titled "Diamond In A Junkyard", and this is the final track of eleven.
Just a lovely song - and I wanted to feature one from her, as very soon after this she completely dropped out of sight - even from her former band members.
She has performed since under different names, but as I say, she wants her privacy from modern media madness, so no more details from me.
But I did love her music with Fanny, and most of what I have heard since, so hope she is at peace with herself.
If anyone wants, I may upload one more track from the album.
Enjoy.

Benson - Season 2 Episode 1 - Thick As Thieves - 1980 - HD
Continuing the spin off show from "Soap", with butler Benson in the lead role.
We jump ahead almost six months to 31st Oct 1980 as we begin Season Two, and no more Taylor in the show - and his departure is not even commented on once.
He is replaced by two people - Clayton as Gatling's political advisor and Pete as his P.R Director.
Early days but I preferred Taylor so far - will wait and see how it pans out.
Plus a new opening sequence for the show.
In this episode.......
Benson and Kraus are taken hostage during a convenience store holdup, and it takes all of Benson's diplomacy to keep her from pushing the gunmen into shooting them.
But eventually a very unexpected clinch takes place............
A funny episode, not altogether believable, but hilarious nevertheless.
And the kiss took me as much by surprise as it did Benson.
Fabulous stuff.

Talk Talk - My Foolish Friend - Live - 21st Sept 1984 - Rotterdam Ahoy - HD
Another great live show from the Rotterdam Ahoy Arena - this time from 1984, on the 21st Sept, and featuring Talk Talk - with the late great Mark Hollis out front - this track is "My Foolish Friend"
My personal record of seeing Talk Talk, was as support act for the Genesis/Peter Gabriel reunion show at Milton Keynes Bowl in 1982 - a show which consisted of a massive torrential downpour throughout, and a five hour delay to leave the car park afterwards.
Unfortunately I was there to see Genesis, and sort of skipped over the Talk Talk section - a decision that I severely regret now, as Talk Talk are now amongst my favourite all time artists.
I know if I had a time machine and could revisit that day, I would pay them a lot more attention.
But at least I can say I did see them live.
I am not sure of any record of them that day exists.
