Sorrel Weed House
House
The Sorrel–Weed House, or the Francis Sorrel House, is a historic landmark and Savannah Museum located in Savannah, Georgia. It represents one of the finest examples of Greek Revival and Regency architecture in Savannah and was one of the first two homes in the State of Georgia to be made a State Landmark in 1954. At 16,000 square feet, it is also one of the largest houses in the city. The Sorrel–Weed House was first opened to the public in January 1940 by the Society for the Preservation of Savannah Landmarks. It was the Society's first exhibit and was called "The Society for the Preservation of Savannah Landmarks Presents a loan Exhibit of Furniture and Fine Arts 18th and 19th Centuries at the Sorrel-Weed House on Madison Square: Jan-April 1940." This Society later became the Historic Savannah Foundation. The Sorrel–Weed House was opened again to the public in 2005 and conducts Historic Savannah Tours during the day and Haunted Savannah Ghost Tours inside the house every evening. These tours are conducted by The Sorrel-Weed House Museum. It is located at the corner of Bull Street and Harris Street.

Paranormal events are purported phenomena described in popular culture, folk, and other non-scientific bodies of knowledge, whose existence within these contexts is described as beyond normal experience or scientific explanation.[1][2][3][4]
Proposals regarding the paranormal are different from scientific hypotheses or speculations extrapolated from scientific evidence because scientific ideas are grounded in empirical observations and experimental data gained through the scientific method. In contrast, those who argue for the existence of the paranormal explicitly do not base their arguments on empirical evidence but rather on anecdote, testimony, and suspicion.[5] Notable paranormal beliefs include those that pertain to extrasensory perception (for example, telepathy), spiritualism and the pseudosciences of ghost hunting, cryptozoology, and ufology.[6]

It is located at Iroquois Park. They have food drinks snacks light up items for the dark walkway etc. It's a great place to take the kids for an awesome Halloween themed experience or even for adults.

GHOST BROTHERS Public Ghost Hunt at the Davenport House Savannah GA
Dalen Spratt is addicted to history both in and outside of the paranormal. The entrepreneur and fashion designer is the ringleader of the team, with his finger on the pulse of the who, what, where, when and why of each case. He first encountered the paranormal when he was young child. After attending the funeral of a man lost to gun violence, he awoke to find the man standing over him…clear as day. It’s the experience he never forgot, and one that bonded him to fraternity brother, business partner and BFF Juwan Mass.
Juwan Mass has a huge heart that can get him into the craziest of situations. He has a passion for helping people and is willing to jump into the fire to get answers. The former Eagle Scout is a natural born explorer. With that said, he knows when to run when the stuff hits the fan. When he was 12, he turned his attention to the paranormal and ghost hunting. Mass and Spratt bonded over their shared experience and desire to explore the unknown.
Marcus Harvey is the most spiritual member of the group, and the only father among the Brothers. His ability to sympathize and relate to families sets him apart, whether it’s bonding with an upset spouse or winning over a scared child. He has an uncanny ability to provide peace and hope to frightened families; and his natural humor can always make clients crack a smile. When Marcus isn’t lending comfort to a beleaguered family, he’s lending an empathetic ear, mad clipper skills, and old school barbershop wisdom to his famous clients at his Atlanta barbershop.”

Extreme Paranormal

The Sedamsville Rectory, located at 639 Steiner Avenue in Cincinnati, has been around for a long freaking time. In recent years, it’s become a popular place for ghost hunters, being featured on several paranormal themed, so called reality shows.
Over a century old, the rectory is believed to be haunted. Witnesses working on building renovations have seen eerie mists and shadows under the doors of empty rooms. Some say one ghost who resides here is Father Donald MacLeod, who wrote “The History of Roman Catholicism in North America.” In the late 1800s. He was hit by a train nearby, and locals, including parishioners, have seen his ghost walking along the street near the building or by the railroad tracks. Visitors here have heard unexplained footsteps and voices and seen doors opening and closing. They’ve also seen the apparition of a clergyman. Other spirits believed to haunt the place are a man and a child who were both found dead, at different times, on the street in front of the rectory. The child had a noose around its neck.
As I’ve said before, I’ve gotten lazy, so doing a lot of research is way too much work for me. So anyway, here’s a history of the place, which I copied off the Rectory web site:

Midwest Preservation Society began renovations of the Sedamsville Rectory in March 2011.
The Sedamsville Rectory was built over 120 years ago. The Midwest Preservation Society is working hard to restore it back to its original condition. The facility has over 6000 square feet of space and four levels. On the first level, it has a parlor, living room, library, formal dining room, a kitchen as well as a bathroom. The kitchen has a staircase leading up to the second level where the servant’s quarters are located. The second level has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a beautiful staircase going to the first floor. There is also a staircase leading up to the huge attic. The Rectory also has a full basement, which is divided into four separate areas.

Bonaventure Cemetery of Savannah GA
Visit my online store at: https://www.hortonhearsasale.com
Bonaventure Cemetery is a rural cemetery located on a scenic bluff of the Wilmington River, east of Savannah, Georgia.[1] The cemetery became famous when it was featured in the 1994 novel Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt, and in the movie, directed by Clint Eastwood, based on the book.[4] It is the largest of the city's municipal cemeteries, containing nearly 160 acres (0.65 km2).[1]
The entrance to the cemetery is located at 330 Bonaventure Road.[1] Immediately inside the gates is the large and ornate "Gaston's Tomb".
History[edit]
The cemetery is located on the site of a plantation originally owned by John Mullryne. On March 10, 1846, Commodore Josiah Tattnall, Jr., sold the 600-acre (2.4 km2) Bonaventure Plantation and its private cemetery to Peter Wiltberger. Major William H. Wiltberger, the son of Peter, formed the Evergreen Cemetery Company on June 12, 1868. On July 7, 1907 the City of Savannah purchased the Evergreen Cemetery Company, making the cemetery public and changing the name to Bonaventure Cemetery.[1]
In 1867 John Muir began his Thousand Mile Walk[5] to Florida and the Gulf. In October he sojourned for six days and nights in the Bonaventure cemetery, sleeping upon graves overnight, this being the safest and cheapest accommodation that he could find while he waited for money to be expressed from home. He found the cemetery even then breathtakingly beautiful and inspiring and wrote a lengthy chapter upon it, "Camping in the Tombs."
"Part of the grounds was cultivated and planted with live-oak (Quercus virginiana), about a hundred years ago, by a wealthy gentleman who had his country residence here But much the greater part is undisturbed. Even those spots which are disordered by art, Nature is ever at work to reclaim, and to make them look as if the foot of man had never known them. Only a small plot of ground is occupied with graves and the old mansion is in ruins.
The most conspicuous glory of Bonaventure is its noble avenue of live-oaks. They are the most magnificent planted trees I have ever seen, about fifty feet high and perhaps three or four feet in diameter, with broad spreading leafy heads. The main branches reach out horizontally until they come together over the driveway, embowering it throughout its entire length, while each branch is adorned like a garden with ferns, flowers, grasses, and dwarf palmettos.
But of all the plants of these curious tree-gardens the most striking and characteristic is the so-called Long Moss (Tillandsia usneoides). It drapes all the branches from top to bottom, hanging in long silvery-gray skeins, reaching a length of not less than eight or ten feet, and when slowly waving in the wind they produce a solemn funereal effect singularly impressive.
There are also thousands of smaller trees and clustered bushes, covered almost from sight in the glorious brightness of their own light. The place is half surrounded by the salt marshes and islands of the river, their reeds and sedges making a delightful fringe. Many bald eagles roost among the trees along the side of the marsh. Their screams are heard every morning, joined with the noise of crows and the songs of countless warblers, hidden deep in their dwellings of leafy bowers. Large flocks of butterflies, flies, all kinds of happy insects, seem to be in a perfect fever of joy and sportive gladness. The whole place seems like a center of life. The dead do not reign there alone.
Bonaventure to me is one of the most impressive assemblages of animal and plant creatures I ever met. I was fresh from the Western prairies, the garden-like openings of Wisconsin, the beech and maple and oak woods of Indiana and Kentucky, the dark mysterious Savannah cypress forests; but never since I was allowed to walk the woods have I found so impressive a company of trees as the tillandsia-draped oaks of Bonaventure.
I gazed awe-stricken as one new-arrived from another world. Bonaventure is called a graveyard, a town of the dead, but the few graves are powerless in such a depth of life. The rippling of living waters, the song of birds, the joyous confidence of flowers, the calm, undisturbable grandeur of the oaks, mark this place of graves as one of the Lord’s most favored abodes of life and light."

Richard Estep author and paranormal investigator using the Human Pendulum

I’m Richard Estep, author, paranormal investigator, and D-list TV personality. You might have seen me on TV’s Haunted Case Files (Paranormal Investigators in the UK) Haunted Hospitals, and Paranormal 911.
My love of all things ghostly began at a very young age, fed by staying in my grandparents’ haunted house in England and by a constant stream of binge reading at my local library (Syston Library, you’re the best!) I didn’t begin to actually investigate hauntings until the mid-nineties, but when I started, the bug bit me and hasn’t let go ever since. I took this passion with me when I moved to the United States in 1999, and finally formed the Boulder County Paranormal Research Society in 2006. It is still going strong today.
I started to write about my experiences in 2013, and now have a number of books that are either on the market or contracted to be released in the near future. I make my living as a paramedic and clinical educator for a private ambulance company. When I’m not doing that, I teach EMT and paramedic students at two different medical taining establishments, and occasionally give tours at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado.
In the tiny amount of free time that does not involve paranormal investigation and writing about it, I am an unabashed geek, with a particular bias towards all things Star Wars. I have a Lego problem that may eventually require professional counseling if it gets any further out of hand. Perhaps above all else, I am a collector and reader of books.

TWC was founded in November of 2009 by Lead Investigator Christopher Smith assisted by friend and co-worker Joseph Tucker. Joseph resigned from the team for personal reasons in July of 2011. Early investigators also included Justin Seegraves and Wes Ritter. Justin and Wes have also taken other paths in life but remain valued friends of TWC.
In January of 2010 Steven McDougal, long time friend of Chris joined TWC as acting Case Manager. Including this position, "Doogie" also holds the responsibilities of Team Leader and Co Founder of the team due to his outstanding contributions and devotion to the evolution of TWC.
Historian and head of research, Scott Porter joined the team along with Investigator and aspiring physicist, Brannon Smith later on that year and remain valued investigators and representatives within the organization today. Brannon is also the younger brother of Chris. In August of 2011 Sumner County native Chasey Ray McKnight joined the team as acting equipment tech and trap fabricator. However, in 2015 Chasey resigned from the team and the show to be a full time husband and father.
In early 2015 the team accumulated member Mike Goncalves. Mike has an extensive background in Audio and surveillance technology and has a passion for the paranormal.
The Tennessee Wraith Chasers have investigated many acclaimed paranormally active historical sites, residential properties and public conglomerates including Old South Pittsburg Hospital of Pittsburg, TN and All access Coach Bus Leasing of Gallatin, TN to name a couple. As a result, the team has documented numerous unexplained audio and video anomalies along their travels.
In 2011 Chris, Doogie and Porter appeared and competed on Travel Channel's "Paranormal Challenge" where they received the episode victory.
In February of 2013 TWC appeared in their very own series pilot "Ghostland Tennessee" where the team investigated the home of a local family experiencing supernatural phenomenon. The pilot episode premiered on Animal Planet and later that year it was picked up by Destination America.
In February of 2014 the team began production on a brand new series picked up by Destination America that aired in the fall called "Ghost Asylum"
After 3 seasons of Ghost asylum the team began production on a new series called "Haunted Towns" that aired on Destination America in August of 2017.

True stories of Bigfoot
Visit my online store at: https://www.hortonhearsasale.com
"Swamp ape" redirects here. For the Miocene primate, see Oreopithecus.
The skunk ape, also known as the swamp cabbage man, swamp ape, stink ape, Florida Bigfoot, Louisiana Bigfoot, myakka ape, swampsquatch, and myakka skunk ape, is a humanoid creature said to inhabit the U.S. states of Florida,[1] North Carolina, and Arkansas, although reports from Florida are most common. It is named for its appearance and for the unpleasant odor that is said to accompany it.
In North American folklore, Bigfoot or Sasquatch are said to be hairy, upright-walking, ape-like creatures that dwell in the wilderness and leave footprints. Depictions often portray them as a missing link between humans and human ancestors or other great apes. They are strongly associated with the Pacific Northwest (particularly Oregon, Washington and British Columbia), and individuals claim to see the creatures across North America. Over the years, these creatures have inspired numerous commercial ventures and hoaxes.[1] The plural nouns 'Bigfoots' and 'Bigfeet' are both in use.[2]
Folklorists trace the figure of Bigfoot to a combination of factors and sources, including folklore surrounding the European wild man figure, folk belief among Native Americans and loggers, and a cultural increase in environmental concerns.
