APP Bullet Sizing With Gas Checks...
I am doing some gas check seating on the APP... watched and asked a bunch of questions about what works best/easiest because I haven't ever done it before. Turns out that at least for me the easiest way and the fastest way are just to do it... one stroke and move on. Uncle Jim had mentioned in more then one video how he does it with 3 taps on the down stroke on his APP... I did that and then by mistake I forgot/got distracted and did it in one full stoke...so here is my video on how I have found the easiest best way for me to seat gas checks on powder coated bullets. Over 150 so far and everyone of them is perfect!
Update... while this video has been up loading(my internet speed sucks!) I did another 300 155gr powder coated .309 for my 30-06...every single one is perfect! Man I love the APP press... it is the only way to to size cast bullets and gas check them too!

Where in the world has PapaLes been?
Where in the world has PapaLes been? Going down another rabbit hole... a big one too! LOL
I am seeing the light at the end of a tunnel... and it isn't a train for once. I have been wanting to do this for years and just never had the $$ to be able to do it. I have been putting away a few $$ here and there into my black hole.. and finally had enough to get going.
The used/customer return printer cost me $0 shipped off Ebay. When i got it it the main body had been used and abused but other parts were brand new. I got lucky in that it fired right up after I got it put together. It took me a loot of time and effort to get it actually printing decent prints... #D printing is mostly an art not a science...it is NOT plug and play for sure. Every roll of filament is different to some extent... what works for 1 roll may not work for another roll even from the same mfg.
3D printing is a slow process... the main body of my loaders to 38 hrs to print alone! My wife thought I was loosing my mind and wasn't happy at all with how much time I was spending trying to get things done. But I am 99.99% complete on printing many many parts for this project and I have both set up and running 100% for 9mm. Figuring out the adjustments for each one took a long time to get right.
A HUGE shout out to TinMan for getting me going on this!!!!! Without his help and guidance this would not have been possible.
