Advent Of Joy 12-13-20
In the 3rd week of the Advent season leading up to Christmas. This week Pastor Eric talks about the Advent of Joy. This year of pandemic, closing of businesses and schools, etc... it has been hard to have Joy or to be thankful. Joy is an essential part of the Gospel of Christ and God's love for us.
Joy is for all people. When the Angels announced the birth of Christ to the world, the Angels went to the Shepherds, who were told not to be afraid but to be joyful. Salvation is meant to bring Joy. the Apostle John wrote in his letters about Joy using phrases such as "Make Our Joy Complete" "Walk in Truth and Great Joy".
Sometimes we have Delayed Joy as written in Psalms 126. If we need Joy, we just need to seek Jesus, because Jesus and Joy are for all (John 3:16). We go out into the world that is full of troubles, but we can return with Joy. In the difficult times that Israel faced, they planted what few seeds that had in the ground with tears and sorrows, not knowing if it would produce growth, but would harvest in Great Joy. James 1states to consider it pure joy when trials and troubles come. Joy renews and restores us to the Lord through the Joy of Salvation.

Jesus Resurrection Power 04-12-20
Welcome to Easter Sunday/Resurrection Sunday s part of our Drive In Church. Pastor Eric Hendricks shares Jesus Resurrection Power. His Reading was from 1st Corinthians 15:1-22.
Jesus during his ministry had resurrected a number of people. The Power of God can and has brought people back to life. But each person in the end died again, except Jesus. He rose from the dead and the eye witness accounts show that he, while alive ascended into heaven.
When Jesus gave up His last breath for us, the Temple curtain tore, Rocks split and the dead who were righteous, came back to life and walked into the City, appearing to many.
Jesus is hope for the hopeless. It is Jesus' intention to save all who put their trust in him.

Hearing From God Part #1 09-20-20
We are all designed to have communication with God. There are more than one way to communicate, like through: confession, surrender, worship, prayer requests. These are all "Us to God". God Speaks to us and wants us to hear, understand and respond to Him.
1. Hearing from God is essential
2. Hearing from God benefits us
3. Hearing from God benefits others
When we hear from God we need to Act upon it. How do you hear from God? What is He saying to you?

Discerning The Deceiver's Dialect 10-04-20
Pastor Eric discusses how Satan continually tries to override God's voice in our life. The word Satan means Adversary, because he is an enemy opposed to us. Hearing and knowing the truth is a matter of life and death.
Satan Questions our experience with God. He questions the veracity of God's word, and contradicts what God say and slanders the Character of God.
Satan Questions our Identity in God. He suggests the use of right things being used in the wrong way. Jesus uses miracles to serve others and demonstrates the power of God. Satan continues to tempt Jesus the kingdoms on earth, which is Jesus because He is the Son Of God.
Satan Counterfeits the works of God, through certain miracles. We need to keep the adversary of our soul talking us out of what God has said. Don't believe the lies he whispers, or doubt the Truth God has spoken to us.

Having A Malta Moment 01-10-21
Our Missionary guest pastor, serves in a sensitive area of ministry. He shares how his world was turned upside down, having plans interrupted, and having to refocus his ministry. Just like the Apostle Paul on his way to Roman gets shipwrecked on the island of Malta, interrupting his trip, God uses these life interruptions to move according to His plan.
Do you see the disruptions of the past year of the pandemic as a negative, or o you find a way to move through it and find a new purpose to fulfill.

Immeasurably More Part #1
As we continue to have Drive In Church, Pastor Eric starts the first in his series "Immeasurably More", Based off the verse from Ephesians 3:20. God starts His work in us with the End in mind.
God's Plan leads us to the Cross. The Old Testament continually points to God's Plan to redeem mankind through Christs sacrifice. Abraham offered Isaac as a Sacrifice to show he believed God could raise his son from the dead. The Passover lamb's blood points to Jesus as the perfect lamb.
God's plan leads us through the Cross by the Holy Spirit. God doesn't merely want to get us safely to Heaven - He has a huge plan for us between here and Heaven. We are here to represent Him and His Kingdom rule on Earth. Through the Cross we cn do immeasurably more as God has planned.

Hearing From God Part #2 09-27-20
God communicates to His People Continually. We first take a look at Job in the Bible. Through his trials, God spoke to Job through his friend at times, who got some things correct.
You will see throughout the Bible where it says "God said to...…" (Noah, Abraham, Moses, Eve, etc...)
God speaks to us through the Scriptures when you see "It is Written". As we read the Bible, some parts may just jump off the pages at us, or bring things to memory at certain times.
God speaks to us through prophecy, but we need to:
1. Test it
2. Does it edify, build up not beat up.
3.Does it ring true? Ring true to scripture or to the Character of God
4. Does it Confirm what God has already spoken to your heart?
God Speaks to us through dreams and visions, such as Joseph in Genesis and Matthew, Daniel and John about current events and events to come.
Are you in tune with what the Lord is telling you? What is He telling you? How are you going to respond?
