산드라 페이 박사는 테크놀러지가 어떻게 부정선거에 이용되며 민주주의 파괴하는지, 왜 이것을 막는것이 중요한지 설명 했습니다.
산드라 페이 박사는 도쿄 조치 대학 (Sophia University) 교양학부 인류학 부교수 겸 국제학 대학원 부교수이다. 산드라 박사는 런던 SOAS 대학에서 박사학위를 취득했고 북한 인권에 관한 두 권의 책을 저술했다.
첫 저서는 기아 생존의 주관적 경험인 “고난의 행군: 북한에서의 죽음과 생존”이다. (뉴욕: 컬럼비아 대학 출판부 2015)
또한 북한정권이 국내외적으로 저지른 위반 행위와 인권침해에 비디오 기술을 사용한 의혹에 대해 심층취재한 결과를 책으로 출판하였다. “권리를 위해 죽다: 북한의 인권 유린 행위 기록” (뉴욕: 컬럼비아대 출판부 2019)
산드라 박사는HRP에서 인권침해행위에 시청각기술을 사용하는 정권의 가해자들에 대한 책 프로젝트를 진행할 예정이다.

타라 오 박사는 '북한의 붕괴: 통일의 도전, 계획, 지정학'의 저자이다. 그녀는 국제한국학협의회 이사회에서 활동하고 있으며 학술지 IJKS (International Journal of Korean Studies)의 편집장을 역임했다. 그녀는 또한 코리안 아메리칸ICAS (Institute for Corean-American Studies)의 회원이기도 하다.
미 공군 베테랑인 그녀는 미국 국방부, 유엔군사령부/연합군사령부/주한미군사령부, 미 유럽군사령부에서 국가안보, 정보, 동맹, 정치군사 문제를 연구했다.
타라 오 박사는 데이비스 캘리포니아 대학교에서 국제관계학 학사, 프린스턴 대학교에서 국제정책학 석사, 오스틴 텍사스 대학교에서 공공정책학 박사 학위를 받았다.
