The city is bustling with activities, the people need a place within this pulsating heart to rejuvenate. Then a park offering some and even much more.

The ambience in this place is to live for! The hanging curtains on the trees, the uphill walk-pathway, the glassy mirror effect on the pond, the ducks and birds all pull together in harmony. Blissful!

The two avocado seeds growing in a pot are doing fine, a little over three weeks now. Surprised though by the rangy shoot, because it’s quite tall now with broad leaves but still spindly needing support. The older plant has leaves that look like they’re infected but still showing new leaves growing.

Here everyone with green thumbs can get a piece of land and plant veggies and many other edibles.

Walk through the streets reveals every aspect of what makes it up. Sights, sounds, even the cobbled streets and every type of fascination.

In this enclosure there are various breeds of Guinea pig and it is meal time! They are shy and easily panic at sudden movements and sound. Above all, these are a delight to observe.

These Koi are hungry! They’re all over the place. As soon as i got the mini pellets with which they’re fed and threw some in the water, they scrambled for it! Felt sorry for the little ones.

Lovely colours and full of excitement, they fly all over the place making a racket!

This park has a fascinating variety of sections. Gorgeousness! The lush lawns and trees, the magestic monuments, the vast variety of beautiful blooms and the glassy lake full of dazzling aqua life.

There are such a wide range of aquarium fish! So tiny and colourful.

On a rainy day, this tree is lush with sweet looking berries!

This baroque quintessential architecture gracing the city channel way is breathtaking! As old style buildings meet new, they work in perfect harmony.

A Forest and a park! The environment is calming and intriguing. There are fallen and rotten logs giving back nutrients into the bio-flora, a variety of flora and fauna in abundance.

The ambience is serene and rejuvenating.

Freshly picked red currant berries! Here comes a lot of sweetness; smoothie, sorbet, banana iced-cream, jam and jelly. Not leaving out iced hibiscus tea infused with red currant and a dash of nutmeg.

This walk through the forest across a canal is a calming ambience and serenity pur!

in this city forest, there have been deer sightings.

Compost out of kitchen scraps like left-over vegetables, banana peel, fruits and rabbit dung. All sorts of bugs are alive scuttling here and there, diving back for cover as the compost is turned over. After several months the result is healthy black soil.

Hunting out the abode of these docile looking animals that seem nocturnal. Then i spotted one that was very still. Not surprising, they do that when they feel threatened. They simply curl up into a ball showing all their spikes to the ‚enemy‘! I moved close to discover that this lil fella had passed!

Bumblebees, butterflies, honeybees, wasps, Gnats, hornets, so many of them buzzing around from flower to flower and they had their favourites too!

The grapes are looking juicy and ripe. Lovely!

This potted Avocado plant with its root in water is growing well. There is an addition budding on the side.
