**PREVIEW** Are You Intimidated By the Prospect of Preparing a Full Turkey/Thanksgiving Dinner?
At the age of 21, I found myself in charge of preparing my family's Thanksgiving dinner. I'd never done it before and my mom hadn't specifically taught me how. I'd watched her do it plenty of times because turkey dinner is one of my favorite meals and I often asked for it on my birthday as a kid. My mom had gotten sick and she would never be able to prepare this meal for me again. My Grandma was on the tail end at that point and wasn't able to help either. I had a few cooking accomplishments on my resume because my mom had insisted that I learn the basics from her as a teenager so I collaborated with my Dad and took what each of us remembered and re-created the meal. It came out nearly perfectly and in the nearly 30 years since that Thanksgiving, I've prepared it dozens of times, sometimes three times in November for different parties. It's never come out badly. Let me share this recipe with you to help take the anxiety out of a day that should be filled with joy and gratitude for everyone

Are You Prepared for Party Season? This Easy, Homemade Clam Dip Is a Win at Every Gathering!
My parents used to make clam dip once a year on Thanksgiving and we always looked forward to it. I liked it so much that I tried the store-bought stuff and found it to have totally weak flavors so I had my dad show me the basics. Over the years I've tinkered with it a bit and feel that I've now achieved perfection with the inclusion of fresh roasted garlic and a little Sriracha Sauce. I can now turn it out quickly and I have an easy dish i can bring to any party to share or just munch on over a Sunday afternoon movie with the family!

Smoked Baby Backs: If You Don't Believe Smoking Meat is Easy By Now, We Don't Know How to Help You
I've said it before and I'll say it again, paying an exorbitant amount of money to have someone else smoke meat for you is a gigantic waste! If you're in TX or other places known for great BBQ, it's acceptable because you're exploring new ideas and finding things to learn for yourself but if you're anywhere else, I guarantee that once you get this sorted out, you'll want to make your own, less for the savings and more because you can dial it in to exactly what you want it to be every time and you can do it at home in a bathrobe
