KIM-1 PIA
In this video I will explain how easy it is to work with you Peripheral Interface Adapter. And how to setup Port A or Port B as an Input or Output Port. Then how to view the Input Port or Store Data into your Output Port.
After that we will write some simple code, to have your computer communicating with your project using the PIA adapter.

KIM-1 Piano update
This is an update to my KIM-1 Piano.
In this video I have modified my bread board to include 2 - 8 push down button arrays.
I only had to modify my program by EORing all of the Port A inputs. by placing a 49 (EOR) FF at address 020F and 0210. Which I original had placed two NOPs (EA) in place, so that I would not have to number the entire program.
As you can see in this video, I built a new bread board to accommodate the 2 - 8 push button arrays and I had to use an alligator clip to wire my bread board, as there was no room for the ribbon cable.

KIM-1 Piano
This is a simple program that creates a different sound wave, depending on which key you press.
In this video I spend a fair amount of time explaining all of the unique issues that I ran into. In the hopes that I would be able to make everything about this program, perfectly clear.
So, it does run a little long, but hopefully I will have made every aspect of this program a little easier to understand.

Emergancy Message
As it is obvious right now that our Government officials, both Federal and State are no representing us at all. While they are all pushing to inject our children with untested and dangerous chemicals.
That we need to stand up to all the powers that be, even in your own neighborhoods.
You can protest outside of Big Corps in your city, who are forcing Human beings to get injected or wear a face mask ever day for 8 hours.
It only take a few brave flag waving souls, to wake up everyone else, to what is going on, right under their noses.

Kim-1 Mini Program C
n this video we will go over the Mini Program C found in The First Book of KIM.
In this program we will be introduced to one of the built in subroutines, know as SCANDS, that is used to display our programed values on the 6 - 7 segment displays.
This short program has inspired me, to do something more then simply put some static numbers up on the displays,
So, first I started by simply incrementing the first two digits on the right from 0 - FF in Hex.
After that, I was able to convert this program to count in decimal, from 0 - 99 which took a lot more finessing to accomplish.

KIM-1 Mini Program B
In this video we will be covering the second mini program found in The First Book of KIM called Mini Program B
In this program we will be filling 10 memory location with all Zeros.
and still have time to do the three exercises , as well as a few more valuable methods for trouble shooting any problems that you might run into in the future.

KIM-1 Tone Generator
This little project can be found in the KIM-1 Users Manual on Chapter 5.
It is a basic Tone Generator. We will briefly go over the circuit and the code that goes with it.
This is a fun little project to get you familiar with using the external PA port on the 6530-003 ROM-RAM-I/O Timer to communicate with peripheral devices.

Commodore CBM 2040
In this video I demonstrate how to format a disk using your Commodore PET and a CBM model 2040 dual floppy drive unit.
I also display how to copy a file from disk drive 1 to disk drive 0.

2040 Diskdrive system
In this episode I demonstrate how to initialize a CBM 2040 dual floppy disk drive unit, so that you can load something into your Commodore PET from Floppy Disk.
You have to do this every time you put in a new disk, so you will always need to know how to initialize your drive, before you can use it.

TOM SKIBO
This short clip, of a program written by a friend of mine, TOM SKIBO, who actually wrote this program for Cursor Magazine, back when he was only 14 years old. You can find it on Tape #20

IMSAI 8080 Knight Rider
This is a simple program that you will be able to load on your IMSAI 8080 that simulates the old 1980's TV series Knight Rider's talking car named Kitt.
I found another Youtube video displaying this program, and I thought that it might be nice to give it a try on my IMSAI. You can find the BEN Z Youtube Channel right here. https://youtu.be/S6rXcRc3NR0
Ben was nice enough to share the assembly language code that goes with this program and I was able to export it to machine language, so that I could load it up on my IMSAI.
Here are the two files, that I created, that will help you load this very simple program up on your IMSAI 8080

80C51 microprocessor Keypad - Multiplexing two 7 Segment Displays - New Keypad Scanning Code
I found out that the Old code that I was using, had a problem when multiplexing. The Microprocessor would halt after 60 keys were pressed.
So, in this video I will introduce you to a completely new method for scanning the keypad. However Adding displays and Multiplexing is pretty much the same.
In this video we will program an AT89C51 using assembly language to scan a 4x4 matrix key pad and display which keys are pressed on two multiplexed 7 segment displays.
The program that I am using to write code with is called Keil µVision 5. You can find and download it here: https://www.keil.com/download/product/
As I an not the one who did the actual keypad programming, I will provide you with the link to the individual who actually did do that part of the programming, if you need further instruction on that part of the programming.
