Just another day around the property. I wanted to take some time to reorganize the shop, wake up some machines that have been sleeping all winter, and get some compost tilled into the garden. Come check it out! I will be breaking down the major events in this video into shorter videos just in case some people may not have the time or interest in watching the hour long compilation.

Starting Fiona, my 1978 F150 after hibernating for 6 months. Stock 351M with roughly 140k miles, long tube flowmaster headers, 4 inch suspension lift, 2" body lift on 35" MTs.

Here i'm just taking the time to go through the electrical and hydraulic systems before putting the tractor to work. I'm also looking for anything else i can see that will need to be replaced in the near future. I looked this machine over pretty well at the dealer, but there always seems to be a few hidden issues that show up in the first month of ownership. A quick look at my new work horse and what i've got planned for it. Its a solid 1985 John Deere 750 (yanmar) with model 67 loader. Just over 1200 hours.

Since the last time you've seen it, I've replaced the rear axle bearings, done some painting, and started work on the engine. It'll be ready to rip by springtime!

Quick carb clean and oil change on a sears rototiller I picked up last fall. Originally a sleeve hitch mount, I will be converting this to CAT 0 3 point for use behind my white garden tractors.

Bucking and splitting the popple logs cut this summer.

Amazing how still these birds can be and how well they camouflage themselves. Only the peeping of the chicks let me know they were here. Happy I was able to see this, though I did give her some distance.
