Lumberjack Mortise and Tenon tools. Setup and review.
A quick overview of the lumberjack brand mortise and tenon tools. This is the mid-level kit and overall I am very pleased with how they work considering what they cost.

Wisconsin 2021 Bow season opener. Deer on the food plot!
Its September and its tradition. This is my first attempt at documenting my yearly early season Wisconsin whitetail hunt. Overall, I'd call it a success. We got up, got out there and saw some deer and it was an absolutely beautiful day. What more could I ask for?

Cleaning up this old South Bend lathe. Part 1.
Cleaning up this old 1923 South Bend lathe. Its a model 67-C with 6' bed and 15" swing. For the time being i won't be doing a full restoration on this machine, but i would like to get it cleaned up a little and service what needs service before putting it to work. Enjoy!

A good start to a home machine shop.
I came across a package deal on some old machines and tooling that was too good to pass up. This is a quick overview of everything included. I'll be doing more in depth videos on each machine as i go through them. Index model 40 H mill, south bend 67-C lathe, surface grinder and a 14" Sprunger band saw. As always, it should be a fun time!

I bought another garden tractor... I think i need a support group. Ford LGT17H
Checking out the newest GT in the collection. Its a mid 80s Ford LGT17H. We'll do a quick overview and start fixing what needs to be fixed. First we're going to tackle the PTO clutch. The old one is gacked, but luckily enough the PO included a different one with the sale. Should be another fun project!!!

Spare bedroom to office. Cheap baseboard and window trim from 1x4 pine board. Carpet, pad and paint.
Giving the spare bedroom in my house a facelift, and turning it into a home office. New paint, carpet, carpet pad, and window/baseboard trim. (also new receptacles/light switch) The majority of this video is centered around transforming the 1x4 pine board into useable trim. I took somewhat of a quick/easy/minimalist approach here because sometimes quick and easy is just... appealing... in other words i can be kind of lazy lol. But, that's beauty of doing something like this, you can go as crazy or basic as you want.

Roasting venison ribs over a fire for the first time. Shed hunting, deer beds, Savage model 24.
Another walk through the snow covered cedar swamp. It was a great day to start the shed hunting season. Tons of deer activity! Rubs and beds everywhere, but no sheds yet. I came across a few more dilapidated deer stands and took some time to wonder how long they'd been there and who built them. Makes me wonder how many years it will be before the next owner of this land stands before my box blinds and does the same. After a solid 2 hours of walking we stop to build a fire and roast some venison ribs provided by the whitetail doe harvested on this land last fall. While the ribs cook, we'll have a quick chat about the Savage Model 24 combination gun i'm carrying with me today. Click play to escape the noise and embrace the silence!
Also, i think i accidentally recorded some stick cracking, fire popping ASMR for you weirdos that like that kind of thing... lol enjoy.

White GT-1855 Yardboss finished project. Engine swap, snowblower rebuild, 3 point hitch arms.
A quick summary of the work i've done to this garden tractor since the last video update about a year ago. It started out life with an 18 hp briggs and stratton opposed twin and has now been repowered with a 16 hp briggs and stratton vanguard. I believe the transaxle is powered by an Eaton M11 hydrostatic pump. It has both high and low range. I built some 3 point hitch arms for the rear and will be using it to expand my garden with the craftsman tiller i setup to be used with this tractor. The snowblower in this video came with the tractor. It was pretty beat up when i purchased it, but with a little attention its working great. I will most likely use this tractor to mow the yard this summer while i rebuild the 16 hp B&S opposed twin in the other GT-1655. Its snowing pretty heavily outside as i'm uploading this video and i'm hoping it'll keep up so i can film a true representation of what this beast can handle!

White Gt-1855 Yardboss garden tractor blowing snow.
Just wanted to post a video of the revived White yardboss GT-1855. This thing seems to be a beast, although this year's winter hasn't provided much of a challenge. If we get another good storm i'll be sure to film the ol' girl putting in some real work. This particular garden tractor is a mid 70s White/Oliver Yard boss with a 45" 2 stage shaft driven snowblower. Later, the design would be bought and produced by MTD and sold under the MTD, Dayton, and White Outdoor brand names.

A quick walk through the snow covered pines to grab the memory card from the trail camera and check on the stands. Looking forward to seeing what I've missed out on since deer season. Less deer activity than normal and the pictures reveal why.

Mosin Nagant M91/30 build. Promag ARCHANGEL stock and scope probably meant for an airsoft gun...
I started this project a few years ago and finally decided to pick it back up. Its a 1942 Mosin Nagant M91/30 fitted with a promag archangel stock, 10 round detachable box magazine, ATI bolt handle/scope mount and a "Sniper" branded scope found in the backrooms of an amazon warehouse.

Will it run? Another old chainsaw. Jonsered 510 SP.
I picked this saw out of a free pile on the side of the road about two years ago and its been in my shed ever since. I figured its about time to check it out and see if we can put it to work.

OBS ford leaks fluids... who would've guessed?? Freeze plug swap with engine in frame.
When i bought this truck it had an expandable rubber freeze plug in the block. Over the past month i've noticed it leaking significantly so i've decided to try and get and actual freeze plug back in the block to stop the leak. As always we encounter a few obstacles along the way but nothing we couldn't handle.

It NEEDS HELP. Ford 400 teardown/inspection. Continuing the 1978 F150 project.
Today we're tearing into the spare engine I had sitting around for Fiona. Its a 1977 ford 400 out of a 2wd F250. It was locked up when I bought it and I have no idea how long its been since it last ran. Valves were rusted in place, but they cleaned up with a little electrolysis. Overall, its in terrible shape, so we're gonna get it cleaned up and try to make a decent heart for the ol' girl!

Nilight LED pod install, oil change in the MT2501D, other shop nonsense. New camera (its terrible)
Installing some Nilight LED pods on my snowblowing rig, the White Yardboss (GT1855). Also changing the engine oil/filter in the Mitsubishi MT2501D, and taking care of a few other tasks in the shop. Trying out a new camera this time, i apologize for the unstable shots and the poor audio/video quality. That's what i get for buying a cheap camera. The search continues, i may just have to drop the money on a decent canon or nikon. Nonetheless, try to enjoy and thanks for watching!!

Garden Tractor Tilling Spring 2020
These two make quite the pair! This is a legitmate White/Oliver 1655 manufactured before the brand was bought by MTD. I recently fabricated CAT 0 3 point hitch arms for the tractor and modified an 8 horse craftsman pull behind rototiller to be used with the system. I couldn't be happier with how it works. This is the second time tilling the soil and i will say i had no problems breaking through the sod on the first pass. Enjoy!
