Chilling howling in the not-distant-enough-distance. There is no image because it is so dark in the mountains at 3 am, but the sounds coming out of the darkness are unnerving. Guessing it's coyote's.

Two contenders... one blanket / pillow. In the black fur we have 'Dinkleman' and in the white fur we have 'Chomper'. There can be only ONE winner. Who will win this epic battle for the coveted blanket and pillow spot???

Some lazy snowfall in the mountains.

He put the axles in backwards and so it beeps when it's in "drive" cuz it's really "reverse".

Saw a diving duck on the pond today.

13 wild Wood Ducks on the pond. I recorded them for the first time and so, they were naturally scared by the camera. But their hungry bellies won out and they finally approached to eat.

3 strange lights seen hovering, in triangle shape, in the night sky and then they, 1 by 1, fizz out. Indiana. January 9, 2021

Discovered this huge bird just sitting at the top of the pine tree out front.

What are those weird little flying bugs? Sure sure ... bugs, yes yes. But, this is in November, in the mountains so there aren't too many bugs left up here.

I'm not sure what they were looking for, but this was their 3'rd pass overhead. *shrug* I've never actually been this close to a helicopter. We just moved up to the mountains, to escape the commiefornians in the valley. So .... peaceful. o.o

Bear Fires approach our house in Forbestown, CA. Ash rains down as it gets closer.
