Discernment (Nothing Is The Matter)
The unbalanced mind is a pre-disposition that allows the strong narratives of others to take hold within our minds and subsequent behaviours. We need to be authentic with our own emotional needs before we can clearly discern the external world around us. And there's lots to sift through.
If we don't truly accept and understand ourselves, how can we tell who has our best interests at heart? We don't necessarily need to have a perfect mental state (there is no such thing) but to see clearly we must accept and try to understand who we are first, warts and all. If we ignore mental blockages, or if there are unaddressed issues that hinder our lives, we can become susceptible to misleading political, news , fraudulent, or forceful sales strategies amongst others.
Know thyself.

Being brave (Nothing Is The Matter)
To be afraid is a natural response to anything new. That could be anything from a global crisis to making a speech at a wedding, so perhaps we should make the habit of pushing our comfort zones at least once a day. It'll eventually encourage us to become more robust in the face of external changes we see around us.
Roll with change, let's not be rolled by it.
Fear has also been a staple diet for all of our papers and news reports over the years, it sells. It also keep us needing them, fear begets more fearful situations to be fearful about.
There is a huge difference between understanding the dangers of any given situation and living in unnecessary fear.

By a knot in the stomach I'm referring to a negative feeling: An area of anxiety that is too small to sometimes identify but it is very much present all the same. It normally establishes itself when we feel a little ashamed or embarrassed about something we may have done. We've effectively wondered off kilter for a moment or two and need realigning. Perhaps we had one too many the night before and displayed a behaviour that really isn't in keeping. Or is that feeling a little too common? Maybe it's time to address it.

There is not past as such, just snapshots and memories of it, just as future dates only exists as an intention. In reality there is only NOW. A series of never ending back-to-back NOW's. Being in the present helps us recalibrate and allows more presence of mind. De-clutter your mind with meditation and allow your intuition and instinctive thoughts the room to make themselves heard over the constant white noise of life.
Two things that never change:
1. There is only now.
2. You'll always be in it in one shape or form.
Everything else changes.

We all make mistakes, we all have regrets. Perhaps we said the wrong things, or did the wrong things or perhaps people have not had our best interest at heart. It's a powerful thing to summon up the courage to forgive. Forgive them, and forgive yourself no matter how big or small you think they are. Accept and allow, forgive and move on maybe be a few shades lighter than you were before. Emotional wellbeing is by far the most important aspect of your life - take as many baby steps (or large strides) to improving you state of being.

Love is such a powerful emotion. It dilutes conflict, de-esculates anger and is our default state of being. It's where we start, it's where we'll end up - we might as well realise it. One small candle flame can light up an entire room of darkness.
When you receive love, you can pass it on, not just for your relatives but also for the wider world. It may be as simple as a smile or opening a door or offering help to a stranger.
Don't be angry at those who display unconscious behaviour - see them as an opportunity, empower them. If we grew up without the investment of love around us, then how would we know?
If you love yourself first, then you can offer your loved ones a complete and total you - they deserve that don't they?

Society has rules and expectations. 'Success' is demanded from us as we are expected to study and be examined at school, then college or university and then hopefully onto a job where we have to play by the rules. No wonder so many of us opt out in search for alternative ways.
Good news, your time is here and now. Life is changing and so should we. Forgive yourself, love yourself for who you are and create the new you, in exactly the shape you'd like. Be useful, be helpful and understand you're exactly the person you're supposed to be.
It's time to celebrate our differences - perfection is an imposter.

Desire is an essential part of life. (Nothing Is The Matter)
It drives us in such rich and varied ways and we must do our best to follow the path it leads us on, follow our hearts.
The Law Of Attraction has at times, been sold to us as a way of accumulating assets and wealth. Of course there is nothing wrong with material wealth, but IF in the process you're ignoring the needs of the 'self' to simply appease the needs of the ego, then wealth will not necessarily improve your well-being.
When it come to self empowerment it has to come from the INNER you first. The trappings of wealth can mask these callings but something will always be missing if your emotional need are not addressed. Without well-being, you can't whole heartedly enjoy the trappings of wealth. As irony would have it, if you do find your passion, and align to your calling the wealth won't actually matter as much anyway.
