I see both sides to this issue: yes, conservatives have bigger fish to fry right now, and some people need to calm down about an “influencer” who clearly profits off her looks, baking in a tight top. I’ll admit it’s also challenging to be both cute/stylish and modest as a woman; I’ll admit I struggle with that. But also: there’s a deeper conversation to be had here about modesty, and the idea that women can wear and do everything men can, and get no reaction IS a very feminist, very liberal idea. Men, society and women may not judge you quite as harshly for having a promiscuous past. But God does. Further, a good, desirable woman wants to know you can say NO. Yes, women get a little thrill when other women are attracted to our man. But we want you to be able to say, “no” to them—“I’m taken.” That gives us an even greater thrill. We want to know you’re devoted to us, and have the ability to show some self-control. Otherwise, you can be the most attractive man in the world, and still, you’re of no use to us. Because you’ll only leave us heartbroken. If you can’t say “no” to seggs and to women, you’re setting yourself up for toxicity and failure—same as the person who can’t say “no” to food or alcohol. Women and men are both to blame for feminism, the degeneration of society, and the degeneracy we see around us today. Men are called to lead, and if you don’t like what you see today, men either led us here, or abdicated their God-given role. THIS DOES NOT MEAN WOMEN ARE NOT ALSO TO BLAME. We certainly are. In many ways, most of you reading this aren’t to blame at all, because we all inherited toxicity, a culture of broken families and reversed or non-existent gender roles. So I am not specifically blaming you reading this, but I am requesting that you—man or woman—step up, and stop pointing fingers exclusively at the opposite sex. We were all raised under feminism, post sexual revolution. We all need a bit of grace—men towards women, women towards men. There’s a lot of broken hearts out there, a lot of pain, a lot of resentment. Your feelings are justified, but indulging in them perpetuates a cycle of toxicity. Each man has an obligation to become the most righteous man he can be—regardless of how women behave. Each woman the most virtuous—regardless of what men are doing. It took both men and women to get us here, men and women both facilitating the sexual revolution (one of the most destructive forces in the modern era), and it will take both men and women to get us out. I don’t need to be surrounded by my brood of adopted children, to know that it’s evil to kill innocent, genetically-distinct humans. There’s nothing hypocritical about being pro-life and not having adopted or gone into the poor-house donating all your money to kids in need. Being pro-life means you recognize the inherent worth and value in all humans, and that every living human has the right to his own life. It doesn’t mean you need to be able to materially help everyone—or even anyone. Because pro-aborts can never defend their position as it stands, they have to jump to attacking Americans for exercising their God-given right to defend themselves against tyranny. Argue the point. Tell me why you think it’s ok to end innocent human lives, and why some human lives are inherently worth less than others. There’s no comparison between a procedure that always ends in death, a procedure whose express purpose is death, and a tool that has many purposes. Many things in our lives can be a fatal tool; it matters who’s using them and why and how they’re using them. Not so with abortion, which always has the same end. Taking away guns won’t take away evil. And you’d need guns to effectively take away other people’s guns. Ergo, you admit that guns are necessary, and that some people will always have them; you just want to personally decide who gets them—just like you want to personally decide who “gets” a right to his own life. There are about 2 million couples in the US waiting to adopt. That’s about 36 couples for every 1 child put up for adoption. No one is forcing you to become pregnant. But if you find yourself pregnant, and you’re not willing or able to act like the mother that you’ve now become, there is very likely a loving home for your baby. So please stop with the references to poverty and child abuse and broken homes and single-mom homes, etc. Adoption isn’t the ideal, but once you’re pregnant, and if you truly can’t or won’t parent, adoption is the right thing to do. It is never an act of compassion to kill your own offspring. If you’re truly concerned about the ramifications of child suffering or the (sometimes) negative outcomes of adoption: then don’t become pregnant. But once that life is created, you’re not doing anyone any favors by killing it. A child has a right to his mom and his dad. Obviously, we can’t always control every situation to make it the ideal; moms and dads are fallible and human—they fail sometimes, or die tragically. But that doesn’t give us license to intentionally create situations that aren’t the ideal for the child. It’s not about what’s ideal for you—but rather, what’s ideal for children. And surrogacy isn’t comparable to adoption. Adoption takes a broken situation and tries to mend it. Surrogacy makes a broken situation. I had the pleasure of wrapping two feature films within the past 18 months—over 2 years after I stopped pursuing acting professionally.
