This lecture goes through the basic Relational Data Model (for RDBMS). We cover entities and attributes, keys (both primary and foreign) and how to join data (natural joins, left joins, right joins, etc). We also cover relationship types (1:1, 1:M, M:M) and introduce the concept of Normalization.

The textbook we are using is Coronel and Morris Database Systems (13th Edition). This lecture is designed for an Introduction to Databases college level course.
