•Divine Madness• Acrylic and Gold Leaf on Wood Panel I'v always been fascinated with everything Viking. Having a Norwegian heritage, I loved learning about their culture. Recently I did the Ancestry test, so we will see how much Viking blood I have.😆 The third painting in the set is based off the Viking Berserkers, who would eat things like mushrooms and henbane to achieve a trance-like state before battle, sometimes called Divine Madness.

This is my last painting in my Glitter and Gold set, •Power Up• is a Mario inspired acrylic painting complete with gold leaf and glitter in the varnish. I added gold leaf to the skills teeth, as well as the coins.
