SpaceX Crew 7 from Kennedy Space Center - LIVE
Another attempt to launch Crew-7 is scheduled for Saturday morning.
The launch was scrubbed Friday because NASA says they wanted more time to make sure it is safe, even though everything is fine. Specifically, the team wants to do more analysis on the Dragon capsule's environmental control and life support system. That system provides clean air and water to the crew inside the spacecraft.

LIVE - GOP Debate and Commentary
Unlike some previous presidential debates, which have been simulcast across a number of major networks and cable channels, the first forum is airing exclusively on Fox News and the Fox Business Network as well as on Fox’s website and other streaming and digital platforms.
In lieu of the network’s YouTube channel, the Republican National Committee has partnered with Rumble — a video sharing platform popular with some conservatives — to livestream the debate. Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said earlier this year this was a decision aimed toward “getting away from Big Tech.”
Another debate partner is the Young America’s Foundation, a Virginia-based outfit headed up by former Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker that bills itself as “the principal outreach organization of the Conservative Movement.”
WHERE IS IT?
Candidates will be on stage at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, the biggest city in Wisconsin, a battleground state that will also play host to the Republican National Convention next year.
Wisconsin has proven its mettle as a swing state in recent balloting. Four of the past six presidential elections have been decided by less than a percentage point there, with Donald Trump winning narrowly in 2016 before losing by a similar margin in 2020.
WHO WILL BE THERE?
The RNC confirmed late Monday which candidates will be on the Milwaukee debate stage. The party set a number of markers that candidates needed to meet to qualify, including achieving benchmarks in polling and donor numbers, as well as signing a pledge to support the eventual Republican nominee.
Those expected to be on the stage are Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, former Vice President Mike Pence, ex-New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum and former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson.
Former President Donald Trump, the early GOP front-runner, long ago satisfied the polling and donor requirements but has said for months that he saw little upside in joining his rivals on stage, given his commanding lead in the race.
Trump, who has also said that he would not sign the pledge, said over the weekend on his social media platform that he’d be skipping the Milwaukee debate, and he has floated counterprogramming alternatives, including possibly showing up at the last minute, attending but sitting in the audience and offering live commentary on his Truth Social site, calling into different networks to draw viewers from the debate, or holding a rally instead.

Trial of Joel Guy Jr. MightyMeat with special guest Dog Momma!
On November 26, 2016, 61-year-old Joel Guy Sr. and 55-year-old Lisa Guy were murdered and dismembered by their son, 28-year-old Joel Michael Guy Jr., in Knoxville, Tennessee, United States. Guy Jr. stabbed his father at least 42 times, his mother at least 31 times. He was convicted of both murders in October 2020 and received a sentence of life imprisonment.
Guy Jr.'s parents were soon to retire and would stop providing money for their son; he was to receive a $500,000 life insurance policy if both were dead or missing. The murder involved an elaborate plot to stab both parents, dismember and dissolve their remains, and clean and burn down some of the house, as well as frame the father for the crime. Guy Jr. was injured during the stabbing and left the partially dissolved remains in the house when he left to dress his wounds. Before he returned, police discovered the bloody scene upon performing a welfare check. They also discovered a backpack containing a notebook detailing the plan; plastic bins with both parents' torsos and dismembered limbs dissolving in an acid-based solution of corrosive chemicals described by prosecutors as a "diabolical stew of human remains"; the father's severed hands on the floor; and the mother's head in a pot on the stove.

Hawaii Fires
As Hawaii’s island of Maui continues to fight wildfires that have killed at least 53 people, residents of the devastated town of Lahaina are mourning the loss of nearly all their cultural institutions. Among them, a 200-year-old church, which Native Hawaiians say has been a mainstay in their community for centuries.
“It was a gathering place, it was a staple of Lahaina,” said Kūhiō Lewis, CEO of the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement. “Like when you think of Seattle, you think of the Space Needle. In Lahaina, it was that church.”
Waiola Church has been standing since Lahaina was the capital of the Kingdom of Hawaii in the 1800s, he said. It just celebrated its 200th anniversary this year. It was the main location of community meetings both in the 1820s and the 2020s, and it was the burial site of early members of the Hawaiian royal family.
One of the first marks of Christianity on Maui, it’s now listed as permanently closed on Google Maps.
“Many of our chiefs, our Hawaiian monarchs are buried there,” Lewis said. “The church has significance to our culture, there’s artifacts of the town that’s been standing for over a century. It’s just gone.”
The Kingdom of Hawaii was established in 1795 after King Kamehameha, its first ruler, conquered several islands on the archipelago. In 1802, he moved the capital to Lahaina, where the site of his palace was marked by a large banyan tree until it, too, was scorched by fires Wednesday.

Dustin McPhetridge - ChomoReview
This letter shows exactly why Dustin's been charged with probation violation. The man who asked to be released into the custody of his mother and to have a jacuzzi in his cell after trying to rape at least three kids and owning a massive trove of child porn learned nothing from a 10-year prison sentence or from eight years of sex offender probation. People like his mom have let him get off his whole life, which is why he hides behind his disability to justify even the most egregious actions.

LK99 Real or Internet Hoax?
For Xcomer ZzZ
“If you’re not following LK-99, you’re missing out on the most fun thing happening on the internet right now. Feels like the old internet.
TL;DR:
Since 1999, a tiny group of Korean scientists, working in obscurity and in their off-time, pursue the dying wishes of their materials professor who has his own theory about room temperature and pressure superconductors, a century-defining material, the holy grail of materials science and an instant Nobel prize.
A week ago, one of them went rogue and published a paper describing how to produce their substance, LK-99, which may or not be this holy grail material. It requires no exotic materials or equipment to reproduce, but the paper omits a lot of detail about the specifics of the synthesis.
They accompany it with pictures and a video. There are mistakes in the paper, but the authors say they are trivial, will be fixed, and all of them stand by their claims, even as they feud with each other.

Michigan Voter Fraud
FEC records reveal a Democrat dark money super PAC paid the company implicated in a Michigan police report of voter registration fraud $11,254,919 to register voters for Joe Biden's 2020 presidential campaign.
BlackPAC, a Democrat political action committee fueled by undisclosed contributions, funneled $11,254,919 to GBI Strategies LLC in 2020 to register voters for Joe Biden's presidential campaign.
Notably, BlackPAC, which garnered more than $44 million in funding during the 2020 election cycle, endorses Democratic candidates and causes.
A Michigan police investigation into GBI Strategies LLC was initiated following the observation of a Muskegon, Michigan, clerk who noticed an individual depositing 8,000 to 10,000 completed voter registration applications at the city office on October 8, 2020.
This same individual returned multiple times over the next few weeks, registering an additional 2,500 voters. Disturbingly, many of those registration forms displayed identical handwriting with fraudulent addresses and falsified phone numbers.
Additionally, many signatures did not match those on file with Michigan's Secretary of State. A subsequent raid by Michigan authorities discovered pre-paid gift cards, firearms equipped with silencers, and disposable burner phones.
During the 2020 election season, Democratic election committees collectively channeled more than $4 million directly to GBI Strategies LLC:
🔹Biden for President: $450,000
🔹Democratic Senatorial Campaign: $2,117,605
🔹DNC Services Corp: $1,031,856
🔹Democratic Party of Iowa: $493,100
Gary Bell, the owner of GBI Strategies LLC, is reportedly now working for CompMo Group, a Democrat get-out-the-vote organization founded by Shaun Kelleher, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Director, during the 2020 election cycle.
According to Bell's biography on the CompMo Group's website, Bell has personally managed over 70 organizing operations in 20 different states, often "leading hundreds of field managers and thousands of canvassers in get-out-the-vote operations."
His biography lists voter registration campaigns for DSCC, DNC, Black PAC, and Black Church PAC, which matches the voter registration work GBI Strategies LLC did during the 2020 election.
Thank you to the
@gatewaypundit
for making this police report available to the public.
------
Voter registration organizations from both sides have been accused of similar fraudulent activities.
Notably, ACORN, which had over half a million members and more than 1,200 neighborhood chapters, ceased operations in 2010 after being implicated in a similar fraudulent voter registration operation spanning multiple states.

Photo Tour of Johnson Space Center Houston Texas
The Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center (JSC) is NASA's center for human spaceflight (originally named the Manned Spacecraft Center), where human spaceflight training, research, and flight control are conducted. It was renamed in honor of the late US president and Texas native, Lyndon B. Johnson, by an act of the United States Senate on February 19, 1973.
It consists of a complex of 100 buildings constructed on 1,620 acres (660 ha) in the Clear Lake Area of Houston, which acquired the official nickname "Space City" in 1967. The center is home to NASA's astronaut corps, and is responsible for training astronauts from both the US and its international partners. It houses the Christopher C. Kraft Jr. Mission Control Center, which has provided the flight control function for every NASA human spaceflight since Gemini 4 (including Apollo, Skylab, Apollo–Soyuz, and Space Shuttle). It is popularly known by its radio call signs "Mission Control" and "Houston".
The original Manned Spacecraft Center grew out of the Space Task Group (STG) headed by Robert R. Gilruth that was formed to coordinate the US crewed spaceflight program. The STG was based at the Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia, but reported organizationally to the Goddard Space Flight Center just outside Washington, D.C. To meet the growing needs of the US human spaceflight program, plans began in 1961 to expand its staff to its own organization, and move it to a new facility. This was constructed in 1962 and 1963 on land donated by the Humble Oil company through Rice University, and officially opened its doors in September 1963. Today, JSC is one of ten major NASA field centers.

Donald Trump added a third indictment to his list of ever-growing legal troubles on Tuesday 1 August, after a grand jury in Washington DC charged the ex-president with four counts related to Mr Trump’s alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election and the subsequent January 6 attack on the Capitol.
The four counts, brought forth after an investigation from Special Counsel Jack Smith, accuse the ex-president of conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, conspiracy against rights and obstruction of, and attempt to obstruct, an official proceeding.
Mr Trump pleaded not guilty to all four charges on Thursday, 3 August.
This is the second set of federal charges filed against Mr Trump and the third indictment he’s received this year thus far, adding to the legal pressure against him as he seeks to win the Republican Party’s nomination in the primary next year.
Speculation has mounted whether he will face jail time, should Mr Trump be convicted – raising the prospect of federal prosecutors and judges having to decide whether to jail a presidential candidate or potential victor in the 2024 race.

Trump Indicted by Special Council Jack Smith
Federal prosecutors are investigating Trump’s attempts to subvert the results of the 2020 election, including his role in the Capitol insurrection on Jan. 6, 2021. As with the classified documents probe, special counsel Jack Smith is leading this investigation. Prosecutors are examining how Trump and his allies sought to cast doubt on Biden’s electoral victory and then encouraged a violent mob to attack the Capitol. They also are investigating whether Trump and his aides committed wire fraud or violated other federal laws by raising money through a political action committee based on false claims of widespread voter fraud. On July 18, 2023, Trump said in a social media post that he received a “target letter” in the investigation — a sign that an indictment is likely imminent.
