Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens, and Andy Serkis are returning to Middle-earth! Just announced today, a new film set in the Lord of the Rings universe will release in 2026 - Hunt for Gollum. Serkis will return to play Gollum as well as direct.
