A Look at Our China Jade Cucumbers and How Well They Did
China Jade Cucumbers are my favorite cucumbers to grow. They get over a foot long, but when picked before the bottom starts to widen, they are still very crispy and delicious.

Baby Birds In The Nest Being Fed By Their Parents

Growing Beets In A 10 Gallon Grow Bag
I love to grow lots of different things, so sometimes I run out of room in the garden. When that happens, I usually turn to growing in grow bags. Even though these beets didn't do quite as well as they usually do in the ground, I think they did well enough. We enjoy making pickled beets, so that is what we use small batches of beets for. If you are interested in seeing a video of how we make pickled beets, and the recipe we use, I'll put a link below. Let us know if you've ever grown beet root in a grow bag. Thanks for watching!

How To Grow Flowers In A Basket - But Not Really In The Basket
Once you try this, you will probably repeat it over and over. It looks like the flower is growing in the basket, but looks can be deceiving. The flower is actually growing in the ground, and there is a hole in the basket. In this video, I will show you step by step how to make your own basket of Petunias, or some other flower if you like. After I show you how to do the DIY Garden Flower Basket, I'll give you a look at how it progressed through the season.

Garlic Scapes - An Additional Perk For Growing Garlic
Garlic scapes are versatile in the kitchen and can be used in a variety of dishes. They can be chopped and used in salads, stir-fries, pesto, or as a garnish. Some people enjoy them grilled or sautéed as a side dish. Like garlic bulbs, scapes contain various nutrients, including vitamins C and B6, as well as minerals such as manganese and selenium. Store garlic scapes in the refrigerator, where they can stay fresh for a week or two.

After 30 Years Of Gardening These Are My Favorite Things To Grow
I've grown dozens of different varieties of vegetables. Dozens of tomatoes alone. In this video, I'll show you all of the different varieties of vegetables that are my favorites to grow. Sorry that I neglected to name the #2 tomato. It is Boronia. As I mention in the video, I try new things every year, so this list could change. I will list them in alphabetical order beginning with beans (bush), and ending with Watermelons. If you have some favorite vegetables to grow, be sure to share them in the comments. I meant to include beets and turnips also, but forgot to. My favorite beet is Detroit Dark Red. My favorite Turnip is Tokinashi Turnip.
