Gerald Norman Springer (February 13, 1944 – April 27, 2023) was an American broadcaster, journalist, actor, producer, lawyer, and politician. Born in London during World War II to refugees escaping the Holocaust, Springer was raised in Queens, New York City. He attended Northwestern University School of Law, qualified as a lawyer, and first became actively involved in politics working for the campaign of Robert Kennedy in 1968. A Cincinnati City Council member, Springer served as the 56th Mayor of Cincinnati from 1977 to 1978. He then worked as a local news anchor in Cincinnati where he won several Regional Emmy Awards for commentary. Springer was best known for hosting the sometimes controversial tabloid talk show Jerry Springer from 1991 to 2018. He was also the host of America's Got Talent from 2007 to 2008, and of the courtroom show Judge Jerry from 2019 to 2022. Off television, he also hosted The Jerry Springer Podcast from 2015 to 2022. He was noted as a pioneer in the emergence of "trash TV"; his eponymous show was a "commercial smash and certifiable cultural phenomenon" in the 1990s. Robert Reed (born John Robert Rietz Jr.; October 19, 1932 – May 12, 1992) was an American actor. He played Kenneth Preston on the legal drama The Defenders from 1961 to 1965 alongside E. G. Marshall, and is best known for his role as patriarch Mike Brady, opposite Florence Henderson's role as Carol Brady, on the ABC sitcom The Brady Bunch, which aired from 1969 to 1974. He later reprised his role of Mike Brady on several of the reunion programs. In 1976, he earned two Primetime Emmy Award nominations for his guest-starring role in a two-part episode of Medical Center and for his work on the miniseries Rich Man, Poor Man. The Genesis Convention Center serves as a welcome center and a favourite gathering place for Historic Downtown Gary, Northwest Indiana. Another fun fact that has ensured its longevity is its proximity to the Chicago Region. It takes you a 20-minute drive to reach the centre, which ensures a steady flux of out-of-towners when some big event takes place and there usually is. First things first, a little history – the center was planned in the late 70s by Wendell Campbell and was opened in 1981 to much funfair and celebration from local communities. William A Wirt Senior High School was a four-year (9-12) public high school of the Gary Community School Corporation in Gary, Indiana. In May 2009 the school announced that after over 70 years, it would finally be closing. As of 2011, the site is used for the Wirt Emerson VPA Academy, a magnet school for the visual and performing arts. Wirt High School was established in 1939; it was named after Dr. William Albert Wirt, who served as the first superintendent of the Gary Schools from 1907 to early 1938. I really love this church & have been trying to explore it for a while now. So happy i finally got go inside & take in the magnificent scenery! Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Chicago, Illinois was sure worth the wait. The beautifully decaying state of this Huge structure. I really tried to find information online about the history but only could find the political & legal battles that has plagued this church. But i did not wanna make my video about all that stuff. These tennis courts have not seen a game of tennis in many many years, until today! Located next to Gilroy Stadium & Gleason Park Golf course in the Glen Park section of Gary Indiana. Next to Indiana University Northwest. I rember seeing lots of people playing tennis here when i was a kid riding my bike around the golf course looking for golf balls.
