Festive cheer and tempting treats surrounded Alex, leading to a slippery slope of overeating and indulgent movie marathons. Come January, neglected fitness resolutions cast a shadow, leaving Alex’s energy replaced by sluggishness, and the once-active treadmill stood silent, collecting dust.
On the other hand, Jordan faced the same holiday temptations but with a different mindset. Embracing the festive spirit, Jordan balanced indulgent treats with a commitment to creative and festive workouts. He adjusted his usual training program and simply exercised whenever he had the opportunity.
Moral of the story: DON’T be Alex. Momentum and speed are two key components to success in any life goals you have. Starting from scratch “next year” will destroy what you have going on right now.
