Look at how cute they are! Still, we have to stop for a moment and think. What were these people thinking, leaving their dogs in the back of their car? Sure, they have a bunch of space for all four of them and the window is open enough for them to stick their head in, but it is still no way to keep an animal! Whether you are off shopping for groceries and making a quick stop somewhere, never ever leave your dogs in the car, no matter the season! If you can’t take your dog along with you, then do not take them out of the house. If you do come across a dog locked in a car, there are several things you can do. First of all, write down the make, model and licence plate. Next, notify surrounding businesses to find the owner of the vehicle. In case the owner can’t be found, notify your local police station on their non-emergency number and wait for them to arrive.
