African Grey parrot shows off his dance moves!
Tycho didn't need to be asked twice if he could dance. He got right into it - who needs music? He dances to his own drummer. Head twirls and feather flips. Even a wave. Everything was groovy... then he noticed the camera and tried to pretend it didn't happen.

Grey Parrot Eats Ice Cube to Cool Down in Heat Wave
Tycho the African Grey Parrot knows how to keep cool during a heat wave. He daintily nibbles on a refreshing ice cube, as it drips from the heat of his foot. He is careful to hold on tightly so the slippery cube doesn't slide out of his grasp. This clever parrot knows that the ice will help cool him down.
Tycho is a 26 year old Congo African Grey Parrot living in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Patio sounds - happy parrot
I can Bok like a chicken and I can Rawr like a dinosaur! Both are great ways to entertain my neighbours. There is a reason that the world knows that Max the Moluccan is the original cluckatoo - accept no imitations!

Bravely going where no Moluccan has gone before
Bravely going where no Moluccan has gone before! The edge of the city! Nothing but fields, clouds, cows and sparrows.. where are all the peoples?
Despite the wind messing up my feathers I stopped to say hello to the cows, but they didnt answer back. How rude!

Moluccan cockatoo creates cardboard art
Max the Moluccan enjoys doing the paperwork on the patio, and excels at creating cardboard sculptures. He chews the edges with his powerful beak, and peels layers of corregated cardboard off with great dexterity. The sound of the cardboard is almost hypnotic.

Talkative Cockatoo entertains the neighbours
Max the Moluccan is quite chatty this morning performing a patio concert. He starts off with a crowd pleasing Mama, then tosses in his famous Cluckatoo impression (Bok, Bok), Scremsong, beak tap, and then starts introducing himself - after all Max, Maxwell are his favourite words. Of course there is an obligatory fluff so he can show off his Fluffenchops, and raise his impressive crest. Who can resist a talkative Moluccan Cockatoo when they are this cute? The brilliant blue sky and green foliage on the patio nicely set off this gorgeous Cockatoo's delicate peach and salmon coloured feathers.

Musical Cockatoo enthusiastically plays percussive keyboard
Max, the Moluccan Cockatoo, is a composer, musician, and true performer. He has been experimenting with Bok Music and is delighted with the beautiful sounds that come out of his keyboard. His musical style is experimental, but you can't deny that he has mastered the percussive keyboard. Who needs drums?
Max taught himself how to play the keyboard. He watched his pet hooman press a few keys that made cool sounds, and the rest is history! He loves playing with toys where he can manipulate the environment. Musical toys top that list! In a few weeks, he has refined his technique a lot and is quite deliberate about which keys he chooses.
Max is a 26-year-old Malukan Cockatoo who lives in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He is very popular on social media, and many recognize him as the original cluckatoo. Nothing makes him happier than performing in front of a crowd, and a career in Bok Music seems right up his alley - he just needs a label to pick him up!

Cockatoo and new friend have a conversation
On a late evening walk Max ran into a neighbour, and they proceeded to have an entertaining conversation bokking for each other. Although Max the Moluccan has never met a chicken, he certainly can cluck like one in a hilarious impersonation. The warm golden rays of sunset lend special magic to this video, bringing out vibrant colours. It's hard not to smile at this joyful conversation with a neighbour.

Not sure if I want to go for a Bawk or a Walk. So many tough decisions when you are a bird! Maybe I'll start off with a loud Bok then enjoy my walk.

Seeing Double - Two Cockatoos Meet Each Other for the First Time
It's time to make a new feathered friend. In this video Max the Moluccan meets a younger female Moluccan, and their interaction is hilarious. Max isn't quite sure what to make of the other cockatoo when she reaches towards him, so he shows off his majestic crest and checks with his pet hooman to make sure everything is OK.
Max is the original Moluccan Cluckatoo with his unmistakable trademark Bok that he sings with joy. It’s hard not to laugh when you watch this 25 year old male Moluccan Cockatoo with a larger than life attitude. Max believes that all humans are ridiculous, it’s always a great time for snacks, and, of course, that the world revolves around him. His life is filled with adventures that he loves to share with his flockers. Occasionally Max shares the spotlight with flock members Tycho (A 23 year old African Grey who believes cameras are parrot eating monsters), Tikal (A 44 year old Amazon who enjoys saying hello), and his owner (a featherless biped who doesn’t listen).
Max is living with his owner in his forever home. When he was ten years old he was rescued from a bad situation. In his original home he was living in a basement, and had a lot of behavioral challenges – screaming non-stop and biting to the point that he couldn’t be handled safely. He has come a long way since then, and is now very friendly and social.
The Moluccan Cockatoo, also known as a Salmon-crested Cockatoo (Cacatua moluccensis) can live 60 to 80 years. They are readily recognized by their trademark peach color with a brilliant Salmon colored crest that provides a brilliant display. Like all Parrots they require a lot of attention, nutrition and care.

Cockatoo enjoys cone on the patio
A warm summers day, wind blowing through your feathers holding a delicious cone filled with a favourite treat! Wait for the satisfying crunch. In this case a cone filled with cooked eggs - a healthy treat (birds can't eat dairy). So delicious!
Max the Moluccan loves to hold his food while eating like a big bird - and the cone is a great way to keep his feet clean. So much fun!

The answer is... Bok!
I stopped to think about it when my hooman asked the all important question "Can you Bok for me?", but I was not about to let the opportunity pass. I showed off my mighty fluffenchops, took a deep breath, and gave her my best Bok. They don't call me the cluckatoo for nothing!

Crazy Cockatoo Wears a Cup for a Hat!
In this video Max the Moluccan tries on a new hat – a cup. How ridiculous – a cup isn’t a hat. The Parrot tried on two different hats, with a predictable end – the hat, or in this case the cup, goes flying! One of the hats was very cute and looked like a blue teddy bear. The other hat was larger and blue. But this Cockatoo knows that birds don’t need any hats.

African Grey Parrot Bravely Faces an Avian Skeleton
It's that time of the year that spooky things start to happen. Tycho the Grey makes a new friend. Skinny doesn't start to describe him. A little unsure at first, Tycho eyes up the avian skeleton, before cautiously edging away and sounding the drip alarm. Maybe he thinks his new friend is thirsty?
October is definitely the halloweird season - stay tuned to find out how else Tycho and the flock will celebrate the Halloween season!
Tycho the Grey is a 23 year old Congo African Grey. He has quite the personality, although can be camera shy. It's hard not to laugh as you watch him interact with his world, with his quiet commentary of sound effects.
Tycho believes that all silence is golden, pumpkins are delicious, cameras are parrot eating monsters, and, of course, that he is the top bird of the household. His life is filled with adventure. He lives with Max the Moluccan (the original Cluckatoo, a larger-than life 25 year old Moluccan Cockatoo), Tikal the Amazon (A 44 year old Amazon who enjoys saying hello), and his owner (a featherless biped who doesn’t listen).
Tycho living with his owner in his forever home. He was adopted when he was six months old, and has always lived with the same owner. Like most greys, Tycho is an introvert, and prefers things to be a bit quieter.
The Congo African Grey Parrot can live 60 to 70 years in captivity. They are readily recognized by their trademark grey feathers, white face and bright red tail. Like all Parrots they require a lot of attention, nutrition and care.
