Autobahn Country Club Full Circuit Lotus Exige S 2:52 PB lap time
2007 Exige 1.8 liter factory supercharged car running stock LSS wheels with Toyo Proxes R888R tires. The remaining stock part of the car are the engine internals, most everything else has been modified, changed or updated in some way. It weights around 2k and has approximately 300 hp and 170 ft lbs. of torque. It redlines at 8500 RPM and is really at it's best above 4.5k RPM. This was my first time at this track. My times got better throughout the day despite heat soak. I'm still learning so my guess is this car can do sub 2:50 lap times.

Brainerd International Raceway Competition Course (short) Camaro ZL1 1LE 1:41
2018 Camaro ZL1 1LE M6. Michelin S8M (medium) slicks on a stock car. This was my first time on the short course at Brainerd. Perfect weather and lots of open track. This session had multiple 1:41 laps due to fresh tires. An automatic in the same car would result in faster lap times. The manual is better for me because I share the car and I perceive it to be more durable over time.

Road America CAmaro ZL1 1LE M6 2:26 Lap Time
Cool spring day on new Road America surface with MVP Track Time. 2018 Camaro ZL1 1LE manual on Pilot Sport Cup N3 compound slicks. The car is stock with the exception of Hawk DTC 70 pads, Mighty Mouse Catch can, and slicks. The catch can is pulling about 1/2 cup of oil out of the intake stream for the weekend. No over heating of water, oil, or brakes. The pads were 75% used but the tires lasted all weekend. I didn't bring in fuel so I blended 98 with 91 at the track. The car was legitimately using 3/4 of a tank of fuel per session. This is ~$100 per session in fuel;} The manual calls for an oil change at 6 hours and transmission fluid change at 12 hours. Consumables are not cheep but the car can be driven all out without failure when maintained.

HPT 2017 Camaro SS 1LE vs 2007 Lotus Exige S 1:55 Lap Times
Heartland Park Topeka in September 2020. Me driving two very different cars. The Lotus weighs ~2050 lbs with ~310hp and ~170 lb ft of torque. The Camaro weighs close to 3700 lbs with 455hp and 455 lb ft of torque. Both are on "competition street" tires but not slicks. The computer is engaging on the Camaro in the highest PTM setting and the Lotus doesn't have anything except anti-lock brakes. The Lotus top speed is 111 mph on the AIM Solo GPS vs. the Camaro at 126.7 mph on the PDR. This was my first session in the Camaro at this track so there is more in there for sure. The Lotus is giving me everything it can at this point.

Iowa State Autocross Bloopers
Fun day with college students at ISU. Lots of rides with students hoping to get into the car and track hobby once they graduate. This wasn't my best run but it was the most fun. The car is 2050 pounds with ~310 HP and maybe 170 lb. ft. torque. The passenger makes a notable difference.

HPT Close Call - Lotus Exige and Corvette Z06
This is the closest I have come to on-track contact in 20 years. It was probably 3' but it felt closer due to the closing speed. He was likely topping Alpha at 150 mph. We each had no way of knowing the other was there.

2022 Tesla Model X Plaid 0-60 2:69 Seconds
Tesla Model X Plaid on Continental Sport Contact6 285/35R22 tires. This was done at 820 ft. of altitude which likely doesn't matter to an electric vehicle. This Tesla is new and was at ~93% charge. This run was without a passenger. The runs were surprisingly consistent times but it was faster without the added weight of a passenger. Extremely low drama and almost no tire slip. 2.69 seconds is the fastest 0-60 run I have experienced.
