This week for Tactical Tuesday we wanted to try something a little different. For this weeks video we wanted to share our plate carrier set ups and the reason behind why we have them set up the way we do. Coming from different back grounds David and Hunter both share their experiences with using plate carriers and share what items they have found to be useful and important to them. The Radian® AFTERBURNER™ + RAMJET™ combo provide unprecedented recoil reduction and match grade accuracy in a concealed carry package. The thread-less barrel design allows for effortless install/removal for cleaning. The AFTERBURNER™ compensator is machined from hardened 17- 4 SS and the RAMJET™ barrel from hardened 416R SS; both are enhanced with a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating. This combination achieves low friction, high hardness, and high corrosion resistance, making overall durability and erosion from muzzle blast a non-issue. The INTRA-LOK® mounting system uses the taper lock principle; a tapered locking screw interfaces with an angled V-groove on the underside of the barrel. This perfectly times the compensator as it locks down onto the upper barrel profile on the muzzle end of the barrel. INTRA-LOK® allows the user to simply slide the compensator over the barrel, insert and tighten the locking screw, making for a simple and repeatable installation process. This system allows the user to easily remove the barrel from the slide for cleaning. The Radian RAMJET is a match-grade pistol barrel that delivers an accurate and reliable weapon system. The fluted barrel features a gas sealing chamber as well as a loaded chamber indicator. The RAMJET™ barrel is hardened 416R SS, enhanced with a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating. This combination achieves low friction, high hardness, and high corrosion resistance, making overall durability and erosion from muzzle blast a non-issue. Installed onto a Glock™ G19™, the AFTERBURNER™ + RAMJET™ combo increases the overall length of the slide to a G17 ® allowing compatibility with all G17 holsters. This week for Tactical Tuesday we are answering the questions, exactly how quiet is a suppressed .22lr? We chose to use a Dead Air Mask as our suppressor for the tests and put it on 3 different platforms, a Bergara16" Bolt Action .22lr, a 16" Ruger 10/22 and a Ruger Mk3 pistol. The Priest is the newest flagship handgun for the Vudoo Gun Works line of pistols. The Vudoo Priest is the next logical step in the precision pistol line-up after the fall 2022 launch of the Möbius 1911. The Priest successfully integrates the highly precise and reliable slide and barrel fit found in the Mobius, with the familiar functionality of a modern double stack 1911. Vudoo customers will enjoy the standard option of a contour matching optic cut for either RMR, Delta Point Pro (DPP) or BoMar style iron sights. The Priest is currently available in 9mm Bull Barrel with a bushing barrel option. Each frame features a Nitride treated 4140 steel with Cerakote colors provided at the request of the customer. The slide is a 17-2 Stainless steel that can be left alone or finished with a Cerakote color of choice. The grip is aluminum with a Vudoo Hybrid texture for a solid no-slip hold. The Priest is compatible with STI/SV family of magazines giving users the option of 17, 19, or 23 round capacity and ships with two 19 round MBX magazines. Is there anything more fun that a .22 pistol? This week for Tactical Tuesday we are talking about how useful .22 pistols can be and why every firearm enthusiast should have one in their range bag. From a fun plinker to a useful training aid for first time shooters, .22 pistols such as the Ruger MK4, Sig P322, FN 502 and the Glock 44 are excellent tools to help those who are new to pistol shooting to learn how to handle a pistol on a platform that is less intimidating.
