Boy Walking
The objective of the Boy Walking is to create a captivating sequence where a young boy emerges from a car and ventures into his home, ultimately concluding with him going to sleep in order to delve into the realm of video editing using Adobe Premiere. Throughout this process, I acquired valuable skills such as media importation, creating a cohesive sequence. Selecting appropriate frame rates and resolutions, merging clips together, incorporating audio elements like music, adding text for contextual information, and exporting the final product. The opening credits consisted of a title, while the closing credits acknowledged the projectś editor. Once completed, the proper exporting method must have been conducted by providing a Google Drive link.

The Mandalorian EPK Project
In this project, we were assigned to create an EPK for Disney’s show The Mandalorian. I had a lot of fun creating this project. At the beginning of the video, we had to create a hype intro, I did this by adding fight scenes and quick cuts to black with sound effects immediately in the first seconds of the video. Then the interviews, we had to transition between each interview using J-cuts and L-cuts. I did and used different movie clips to transition between each interview. While the interviewee talked I added B-roll which was clips of the show and behind the scenes. For the ending of this video, I went all out, adding overlays I found from youtube and piecing together audio clips from the show to make the viewer want to see more. While the visual part makes up half of the video there’s also audio. Throughout the entire video, I used 4 different Star Wars songs to create an awesome display of hype and seriousness between different segments of the video. Along with I used keyframes to manage the audio of the song and interviewees.

Mock Real Estate Video
In this real estate project, we were assigned to create a house tour out of various clips that we would gather on our own. After finding all of my media I got to work chopping up the clips to be something unique. Something new I learned to do during this project was speed ramping. This is when you speed up a clip to either transition to a new clip or show more of a clip in less amount of time. At first, it was a struggle trying to figure out how to adjust all of the little points but I was able to overcome this and get my final product.

Willow Spring High School Hype Video
For this project, we gathered clips of Willow Springs High School to show all that it encompasses. We spent many weeks completing the project and first chose our music which was a major key in how we would assemble our videos. Next, we gathered sports, classes, and shots of the school to be put into our videos. After gathering all of the shots, we got to the editing portion of the project. Throughout my video, I used a variety of editing techniques to make my video more exciting for viewers. These included risers, timing the clips with the music, and saving the most hype clips for peak moments in the music. In the end, I feel my portfolio video would encourage rising 9th graders to start planning for their upcoming year at Willow Springs High School.

NC State Fair
The goal was to create an advertisement for the State Fair during the time period corona was more prominent. I used the in and out method, video transitions, and added text at the end. I imported a voiceover as well over and added music of my own preference as well.

Hype Video
The School Hype Video was produced to advertise our school to incoming 8th graders in which our client, the Willow Spring High School administrator, wanted to best showcase the different activities and locations the school had to offer. An attention grabbing, hype music choice was first selected. Afterwards, a MOGRT was selected in order to introduce Willow Spring High School creativity to keep the audience engaged. In order to build up the project, shots were taken and selected around the school in different angles and shot types to display human interaction and ensure quality of the shots. The shots were then placed to match the rhythm of the video. In the end credits, a School Branding Logo was placed to transition into the film credits. A series of markers allowed me to match the beats of the music transitions. The In and Out feature helped me figure out what sequence my clips will be in and prevent my production to not have any unnecessary errors. Effects such as Dip to Black and changing the opacity in the Effect Control panel helped keep my product suspenseful. A group of peers helped create the best product possible by giving constructive feedback which was taken into careful consideration. In conclusion, the School Hype Video used a series of techniques and time to adhere to the incoming 8th graders but also the school administrators by selecting specific time frames of videos and importing them into the tasks at hand illustrating Willow Spring High School in a positive way.

Real Estate Video
In order to sell a house, video clips were chosen to best exhibit the house. The clips were then inserted into the source panel to cut it to match the beat. After the video was set up, I corrected my footage either with different color or used warp stabilizer. The speed ramping was added by double clicking, time remapping , then clicking speed allowing some clips to be more sped up. Ultimately, the house tour allowed the best video to present the house with many techniques,.

Mandalorian
The Mandalorian EPK is the series of clips gathered and searched for in order to present a clear advertisement of the Mandalorian. The features used were a dip to black feature and then the addition of a keyframe on the next clip to gradually change the opacity from black to normal. Then I also added an alpha track matte in order to show an image inside of the title, The Mandalorian. In order to make my video coherent, a parametric equalizer was present to edit my audio. In conclusion, the Mandalorian project allowed the establishment of a creative commercial using interviews and clips to gain the attention of the intended audience to want to watch it.
