Today I show how I pump my snow melt runoff from the water catch tank into the main tanks on our off-grid homestead.

High desert homesteading in the winter. Checking a few things and getting some other things done. Lochlee's corner freeze and chat. Frozen water catch water runnoff tanks. We are located in a completely off grid cabin using solar panels and water catchment for all of our main supplies.

Icy Solar panels covered in snow make for a hard time. A couple of inches of snow and rain the night before with wierd temperatures make for a muddy Icy mess and no power of we don't get these panels cleaned off.

My 2020 Jeep Gladiator JT overland edition has steering shimmy aka death wobble from time to time. This is a video on how to change out the steering stabilizer for a far superior one. This will not cure the problem but will help us deal with it until we can find the root cause and fix it.

Just a short video of Lake Powell, Lone Rock in particular. Showing the water levels around the area. Still plenty of lake around to enjoy and some beautiful views.

An easy enough project for most, the master cylinder replacement on a 2009 Ford Escape. This is how I do it. Follow the manual or take it to the shop if you are not sure what to do. This is the brake system after all. If you can't stop you will crash. This is the real time no edit version of the video so you catch all of the excruciating detail in every wrench turn and don't miss anything. Also I didn't feel like editing hehe. Also there are more steps involved not shown in the video such as bench bleeding a master cylinder and bleeding the brake system. You will have to find videos on those elsewhere until I get one up.
