Everyone has to deal with temptations at one time or another, so you don’t need to feel embarrassed if you’re facing a particular temptation right now. But at the same time, you don’t have to succumb to temptation, because it is something you can overcome! All temptations can be beaten! You just have to make up your mind that you’re going to be the conqueror and not the conquered.

430 Attack Failure
The most devastating experiences in a believer's life occurs when he or she comes face-to-face with personal failure. You know the right thing to do, and in the heat of the moment, you do the opposite, or you do nothing at all. Peter faced this on the night Jesus was arrested. He wept bitterly over his failure. You can avoid the entire miserable experience altogether if you will learn to attack failure before it attacks you.

429 Dress Yourself
Walking in true righteousness and holiness is accomplished when we walk in the power of His death and the power of His life. This isn’t simply self-effort. The Holy Spirit is God’s tailor and he custom fits you into new clothes. Although we have a part to play, it is the Holy Spirit who must be given permission to dress us anew as believers.

428 Undress Yourself
The image of undressing and redressing serves as the framework for Paul’s teaching on putting off the old man and putting on the new man. He says the Christian life is a lifelong process of taking off the soiled, tattered garments of our flesh and being dressed with a new set of clothes that will transform us into people reflecting God’s righteousness.

427 The Death Of Death
Of all the fears that grip the hearts of modern men and women, no fear is greater than the fear of death. But the very essence of this day is a celebration that one Man has slipped through the grave and come back to tell us about it. What He actually did was cause the death of Death itself. Not just for Himself but for us too.

426 When Jesus Comes To Town
The Jewish people had prayed for years for Messiah's return and then to their amazement, He came! They looked forward to Him punishing the Romans, but to their shock, He confronted THEM instead of the Romans. When Jesus comes to town, you just never know where He might go or what He might do.

425 The Unbelieving Believer
Today's title, The Unbelieving Believer, is an oxymoron, an oddity it would seem. Yet I believe this is how a majority of believers see themselves and conduct their lives. This lesson describes five types of unbelieving believers and what they can do to change.

424 How We Learn
This message focuses on 3 ways we learn in relation to our understanding and walk with God. Of course, there are other avenues of learning in natural knowledge, such as can be had in school – whether elementary or higher education. But these three ways are common to all men and women in the practical areas of life.

423 Roots
The truth is that sometimes the tests and trials of life can be severe. If you are at a place in your life where it is taking all your energy and all your resources just to hold fast, don’t be discouraged. And don’t feel bad about yourself. No one is exempt from what Peter called “fiery tests.” In time, smoother sailing will come. Storms will subside. Conflict will relent. But in the meantime, remember it is okay to employ all your efforts and use all your resources to hold fast!

422 Healing Is In God's Redemptive Plan
The big question in most minds is not whether God is able to heal or can heal but is it His will to heal? And more specifically is it His will to heal ME? It seems that in many cases, it is easier to believe it is God’s will to heal somebody else but harder to believe it is God’s will to heal YOU. If you want to get healed or live in divine health, it is imperative you get this settled in your heart and in your mind, that is, the fact that GOD WILLS YOUR HEALING.

420 The Authority Of The Believer #10: The Holy Spirit's Role In Exercising Authority
Free will prevails when it comes to exercising spiritual authority over other people. If they want to live in sin, they can. If they want to be free, they can be. But as long as they don’t want to be free, neither Jesus nor anybody else can set them free.

419 The Authority Of The Believer #9: The Weapons Of Our Warfare
It's really this simple. Once you begin exercising your God-given authority, the enemy will resist your interference in his sphere. He resists because he’s exercising authority over the powers of the air and he wants to continue to do so. Expect him to push back on you. But also know that you are seated with Christ in heavenly places and that he is a defeated foe under your feet.

418 The Authority Of The Believer #8: Risen With Christ
In Ephesians we see that the Son is seated above evil powers and has the authority of the throne of God. But this is precisely where the church world as a whole has failed. It has understood that Jesus Christ is the Supreme Head of the Church, but it has failed to understand that the Head is totally dependent on the Body for carrying out His plans; that we have been risen and seated with Christ in heavenly places; and that His exercising authority over the powers of the air has to be through the Body.

417 The Authority Of The Believer #7: True Humility
We need to wake up and realize we are the ones that have authority in the earth. We must change our way of thinking first, so we can change the way we pray and what we sing. The Bible tells us that we are sitting at the right hand of the Father, far above all principalities and powers. If we’re far above them, then we have authority over them.

416 The Authority Of The Believer #6: 4 Witnesses
In the vision the Lord Jesus gave Kenneth E. Hagin when He taught him how to deal with the devil and demons, Brother Hagin refused to accept that Jesus "could" not deal with the demon that came between he and Jesus. He protested that Jesus meant to say "would" not. Hagin said Jesus would have to give him 3 witnesses to that fact. Jesus said He would give him 4.

415 The Authority Of The Believer #5: Exercising Authority
The door to exercising authority over the devil pivots upon two phrases Paul prayed for the Ephesians.
Ephesians 1:20 (NKJV): seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places.
Ephesians 2:6 (NKJV): and raised us up together.
Notice that not only is CHRIST seated at the right hand of the Father, above all powers in Satan’s realm, but WE’RE THERE TOO, because God has “raised us up together.”

414 The Authority Of The Believer #4: Breaking The Power Of The Devil
Many people think Satan is running everything down here. We must remember, however, that although we are in the world, we are not of the world. Satan’s running a lot of what’s here on earth, but he’s not running the church. We can dominate him because we have authority over him.

413 The Lights Of Christmas
Stringing lights on houses and trees is an important part of the Christmas tradition. There is as great a disclosure in the first 18 verses of the Gospel of John of the person, nature and work of Jesus Christ as you will find anywhere in the Bible. We'll draw some parallels between our Christmas tradition and the True Light which gives light to every man coming into the world. Receiving the Light will bring hope for something you are facing right now.

412 The Authority Of The Believer #3: Seated With Christ
Christ is seated at the right hand of the Father – the place of authority – and we’re seated with Him. If you know anything about history, you know that to sit at the right hand of the king or pope means authority.

411 The Authority Of The Believer #2: Authority
The value of our authority rests on the power that is behind it. God Himself is the power behind our authority! The devil and his forces are obliged to recognize our authority! The believer who thoroughly understands that the power of God is backing him can exercise his authority and face the enemy fearlessly.

408 The Breath Of Thanksgiving
The spirit of thanksgiving to God is seen symbolically in the OT worship of the tabernacle as the FLAME OF PRAISE; the worship of the book of Psalms as the SONG OF PRAISE; and is what the NT describes as the SPIRIT OF PRAISE. The significant thing is that ALL THREE OF THEM CALL FOR CONSTANCY & REGULARITY. We address how we can accomplish this.
