Shabbat before Shavuot 2024 - Daniel Sanders - 05-18-2024 The world seems to be going crazy and it looks like we are near the end. Are we going to make it without problems, or are we to expect persecutions? We are told that we are joint heirs with Yeshua, but it is conditional; we are joint heirs if we suffer with Him that we may be glorified together. He promised us suffering and persecution, but He also tells us how we are to make it. Study the scriptures and learn how to make it.

In Leviticus 23, we have a list of Yahweh's appointed times that He has set apart to meet with His family. If we keep His appointed times, it demonstrates our love for our Father, just as when Yeshua (Jesus) kept them. What is the first day on His list? How are we to know when to keep them? What calendar did Yeshua keep? We learn the answer to these questions and more as we study the scriptures together.

How did Moses become useful in the Father's hands? How did Joseph? How did Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob? These men had to learn certain attributes that would allow them to be used in miraculous ways. Yeshua is our best example of how we are to walk and worship. What can we do that allows us to do what Yeshua did? We learn the answer to these questions and more as we study the scriptures together.

Yahweh led Abraham by His Holy Spirit and had him leave his homeland for another. Isaac was led by the Holy Spirit not to go back to Egypt. Rebekah was led by the Holy Spirit about the twins in her womb. In the New Covenant all believers are to be led by the Holy Spirit. How are we to be led? How can we learn to hear His voice? How can we know when it is Yahweh and not just us? We learn the answer to these questions and more as we study scripture together.

What made Abraham's servant so successful at finding Isaac a wife? What qualified Rebekah as being who Yahweh wanted Isaac to marry? Why was Abraham so quick to obey Yahweh when called away from his home? Why did Yeshua wash His disciples feet? We learn the answer to these questions and more as we study the scriptures together.
