This Sunday, Mike McClung returned to the Emerging Ekklesia Series with the message, "The Kingdom Purpose of the Family." The last thing before effectual warfare can be waged is to make sure the family is in order. Church culture has taught us that kids should be busy, and that busyness equates to training in the things that matter. The truth is, if we do not come into kingdom order, the world will train our kids to follow trends of darkness, instead of the Lord. But even if our family structure doesn't reflect the ideal, what is more important is to build up the family of God. We can neither neglect nor worship our blood families. This Sunday, Dr. Richard Mays shared with our fellowship a message called, "Turning the Power On and Keeping It Turned On". This is a follow up to his message from last October called, "Turning the Power Back On." In this follow up message, Dr. Mays shares seven elements that the Lord gave him to see the power of God follow again and continuously. As we set things in order, it is right to expect the Lord to respond by the Spirit of God flowing through us and providing for every need. Breakthrough is here, and transformation is on its way!

This Sunday, Mike McClung shared a stand alone message called "Preparing for Christ's Government to Emerge." In this message, Mike discusses some of the themes presented in last weekend's conference (Unto Full Measure), with the main topic being "Christ's Government". We often talk about the love of God in the Church, but we cannot have the love of God without the rule of God. We need both! In fact, loving obedience is the qualification for this government to be expressed in and through us—when He is seated as Lord in us, His authority will manifest through us. So we must come into proper order to that He can move through His body to establish His kingdom everywhere we go.

This Sunday, Mike McClung continued his review of the Healing Series with the next message, "Authority to Heal." As we study the life of Christ, we come to understand the nature of His Kingdom. It is not a kingdom of this world, but a spiritual kingdom. And His kingdom is expanded through the many-membered Body of Christ. This Sunday, Mike McClung continued his focus on healing with a message called "God's Provision for Healing in the Body of Christ." The redemption purchased for us included salvation of spirit, soul and body. Therefore the wholeness of an individual (I Thes. 5:23), is intricately connected to confession and repentance from sin. We desperately need to discern what the root of our situation is. Is this physical or spiritual at its root? Is this a result of sin or is this demonic harassment? Am I personally interconnected with the Body of Christ so that James 5:12-16 can be true for my life? The Lord has made provision for our healing and ongoing divine health. Are we taking advantage of it through obedience?

This Sunday, Mike McClung started a review of the biblical view of healing with a message entitled, "Healing is the Father's Will." If we believe that Jesus Christ is the full expression of the Father's character and power, and that He always did the Father's will (as it says in John 5:19 and elsewhere) -- then we must also agree that healing is always the Father's will and desire. Jesus Christ never turned anyone away that sought Him, and His power was never too small for any situation. Erroneous views of healing arise from erroneous views of God. Many are troubled by many questions surrounding healing, but we must start with the right view of the Father before we can address them. The truth is our Heavenly Father sees our pain and oppression clearly, and His compassion toward us is beyond our wildest imagination. He desires our wholeness more than we do.

This Sunday, Mike McClung ministered on "The Office of Pastor". Often misunderstood, the ascension gift/office of Pastor is essential to a healthy fellowship AND to the complete picture of Jesus Christ in His Body. Jesus Christ is the Great Shepherd, and though every elder is to shepherd, there are those that are particularly called to express that aspect of Christ to the Body. This is not the "catch-all, do-all, be-all" leader that the Western Church has made it to be. Rather, it is a part of the complete picture of the 5-fold ministry that should be present in every fellowship.

This Sunday, Mike McClung shared a message called, "Re-Incarnation." Far from the Hindu or Buddhist belief system, Mike's title on this Sunday referred to the very scriptural concept based in Col. 1:27, "Christ in us, the hope of glory." It is not us that is returning to live again, but Jesus Christ through us. Though He ascended to heaven after His resurrection, the seed of God is placed in everyone who receives Christ as their Lord and Savior, and that seed grows and bears the fruit of the Spirit. Also, the Lord promised in Matt. 18:20 that as we gather together corporately, He dwells in our midst. In this way, Jesus Christ is "re-incarnated" in His people, both individually and corporately.

This Sunday, Mike McClung returned to an older series called "The Community of the Spirit." This message is Part 1, and in it, Mike discussedhow the summation of Pauline theology is the formation of the Body of Christ through which the Son of Man is revealed. This Sunday, David Townsend shared a message called "Jesus Christ: The Fountain of Life." In it, David walks through several passages in the bible that discuss how we must put Jesus Christ at the center of everything so that our existence, fruit and ministry all bear His mark. The American Church is largely teaching people to improve their life, and subsequently, we have multitudes that are still thirsty each week because they didn't get the Living Water from Christ. This Sunday, Mike McClung continued with the Song of Solomon series with Part 12. For the rest of the year, Mike McClung will slow down the study to go deeper on some of the aspects of suffering and self-denial that are rarely, if ever, taught in the Body of Christ. It is essential that we understand these weighty issues because the Lord is leading His people straight into them as His return draws near. This Sunday, Mike McClung continued with the Song of Solomon series with Part 11. Moving on to Chapter 5, Mike discusses how after the process that rips the inner veil, there is the process that rips the outer veil. This the season where the Bridal Soul has dedicated herself to the Lord as a locked garden, and in response, the Lord has invited His friends to eat of the fruit He finds there. This is a picture of a dedicated soul sent out to minister to others as a form of worship to the Lord. There is also an invitation here for something deeper. The Lord is inviting us all to join Him in Gethsemene. In this place, we share in His burden for others, suffering for their sake--even at the hands of leaders in the Body of Christ--without any comfort from the Father. This part of the journey is not taught in the Body of Christ, yet the Bride of Christ must walk through this to grow into the Prepared Vessel that justifies the Lord in her worship.

Mike McClung explains that many of our daily choices and priorities are still based in the natural life. If Jesus Christ is truly center, and we want His spiritual life to flow through us, the natural life must go to the Cross as well.

This Sunday, Mike McClung continued with the Song of Solomon series with Part 10. Teaching from SOS 4:7-16, Mike discusses how the Lord takes time to praise the Bridal Soul because her love now springs up from within and it has matured in focus on Him alone. The Bridal Soul has become a locked garden for the Lord, a place where the fruit of His character is developing in His people. This is an important milestone because from here, the lost are drawn to the Lord by the fruit they see in the Bridal Soul.

This Sunday, Mike McClung returned to the Song of Solomon series with Part 9. In this section of the book, we see how far the Bridal Soul has come from where she started. Now there is glory and resurrection life coming from within her, and her gaze is more on the Bridegroom than on what He has done for her. It is here that He praises her, and calls her His spouse for the first time. This encouragement is a preparation for trials to come, but for now there is rest in His love.

Mike McClung shares his perspective on what the Lord is doing in the midst of the war in Israel.

This Sunday, Ben Brown shared a message called, "The Open Heaven and the Father's Seal". We must understand the Lord's corporate purpose for a open gate between heaven and earth, through the Body of Christ fully connected to Him. We need to repent of our dullness, and let Him remove every obstacle to this. The Lord deeply desires His people to partner with Him, and ultimately to clear the way for His return and rule.

This Sunday, Dr. Richard Mays shared with our fellowship a message called, "Turning the Power On", wherein he talked about the Lord is beginning to move again in powerful, demonstrative ways to bring healing, salvation and deliverance. As He does this, we must be prepared in submission to the Holy Spirit, so that we will not be a hindrance to His work. Dr. Mays gives several examples of working with the Lord from his own experience to help us prepare as the Lord's corporate vessel.

This Sunday, special guest and Lionheart-sent missionary, Daphne Swilling reported to us all of the latest developments with the Georgia State resolutions to honor the Native American tribes. She walked us through the history of how the Lord developed her relationships with the Cherokee and other local tribes; Georgia state lawmakers and those of influence; and even international leaders–all to bring about state level resolutions of tremendous weight and eternal affect. What is now law in Georgia is that the Native Tribes are valuable to the state; their trauma was terrible; and that the state has made public and official a desire to “go down to the river, bury the hatchet, and plant a peace tree.”

This Sunday, Mike McClung continued his series called, "The Days of an Open Heaven." In Part 2, Mike expanded on his first message to discuss how coming into oneness with the Lord through lovesick worship and relationship opens a channel for governmental change, i. e. "the kingdoms of this world become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ." The Lord's purpose is to establish His two witnesses on the earth: the Spirit of the Lord, and His Bride in perfect submission to Him as her Head. This subject is sobering, but it is essential to meditate on these things and let the Lord unfold them to us. The days are short, and we must align ourselves with His purposes, whether we feel worthy or not!
