With all due respect, I created this recipe based on Seitan that dates back 1,500 years ago Buddhist monks in the sixth century as a meat substitute.
White Flour contains 10 – 12% of protein which makes it one of the suitable choices to make Seitan (Vegan Chicken) with. Someone who is off white flour (with high protein) can use any other flour including atta. Seitan is one of the plant-based meat alternatives that comes closest in texture to chicken, duck, or steak which are high in fat leading to heart dieases.
According to Harvard Health Seitan is listed as one of the healthy plant based diets. "Here are some foods and nutrients to pay special attention to. Protein. A variety of vegan foods are rich in protein. They include soybean products (tofu, edamame, tempeh), seitan, lentils, beans..."
Seitan is made from gluten hence, people with celiac disease can not consume it. The protein in the flour that, when mixed with water, becomes stretchy and elastic. Because the starches are removed during the washing process seitan is made, it has very little fat and carbs. In addition to protein, seitan contains the nutrients selenium, iron, phosphorus, and calcium.

Firecracker Ground Chicken | A Simple Macro Friendly Meal Prep Recipe
With nearly 600 5-star reviews, this sweet and spicy ground chicken is one of my most popular recipes ever. It's super easy to make. Here's everything you'll need:
- 1 pound Ground Chicken
- 1/2 Tablespoon Chili Oil (or avocado/olive oil)
For the Sauce:
- 1/2 cup (96g) Swerve Brown Sugar (or dark brown sugar)
- 1/4 cup (60g) Frank’s RedHot Buffalo Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons (30g) Rice Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger
- 1 teaspoon Granulated Garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
Brown and fully cook the ground chicken before adding the sauce (all ingredients whisked together) and cooking another 30-60 seconds until the sauce thickens and begins to caramelize.
The recipe makes 4 servings, each with around 185 calories, 22g of protein, 0g of carbs, and 11g of fat (with 92/8 ground chicken). With 97/3 ground chicken, each serving has 26g of protein, 3.5g of fat, and 135 calories. If you use real brown sugar, each serving has an additional 12g of carbs and 48 calories.

I recently came across a viral cottage cheese queso recipe on TikTok and wanted to make an upgraded version. The original queso is a simple combo of 2% cottage cheese, nutritional yeast, and fajita seasoning. My spin on this high protein cheese dip uses a blend of cottage cheese and pepper jack cheese, added veggies, extra lean ground beef for even more protein, and a homemade salsa fresca for serving.
The recipe makes 12 servings (about 1 cup per serving) with 240 calories, 24 grams of protein, 11 grams of carbs, and 11 grams of fat each. You can serve it with lower calorie pairings like jicama chips or baked pork rinds for an extra high protein appetizer or go with the classic corn tortilla chips. NO FUSS NO MUSS Ready Smoked Fully Cooked Frozen Turkey #Butterball

Preparation:

If the Turkey Is Frozen: Thaw, unopened, breast side up on a tray in the refrigerator for 2 to 4 days.
DO NOT THAW AT ROOM TEMPERATURE.
To Serve Cold: Remove turkey from wrapper. Carve turkey and serve immediately.
Conventional Oven:
Preheat oven to 350° F. Remove wrapper.
Place thawed turkey, breast side up, on flat rack in shallow roasting pan 2 to 2½ inches deep. DO NOT stuff.
Brush or spray skin lightly with vegetable or cooking oil for best appearance.
Insert oven-safe meat thermometer deep into the thigh without touching the bone.
Begin checking the turkey for doneness about 30 minutes before the recommended cook time.
Your turkey is done when the meat thermometer reaches 140°F in thigh.
Carve and serve immediately.
