Today we read about Saul disobeying God and the Israelites having no weapons to fight the Philistines. Zophar replies to Job by telling him about the fate of the godless person. It is quite insulting to tell Job these things. Ezekiel is shown the fate of Jerusalem through the shaving of Ezekiel's hair and what happens to each portion of hair.

Zechariah speaks the words of the Lord about taking over as the shepherd of Israel and how the flock will detest God. The Lord finishes with the Lord prophesying about a shepherd that will rule over Israel that will not care for the flock.

Today we read about Boaz being the guardian-redeemer for Naomi's family and taking Ruth as his wife. Job continues to respond to his friend and God about the futility and misery of his life. Zechariah continues his prophecy about the Lord taking care of Judah and restoring them as His people.

Solomon finishes his songs with a description of the power of love and the adoration between the man and woman. Zechariah writes about Satan accusing Joshua, the High Priest, and God forgiving his sins and clothing him in cleanliness.

Today we read about Micah and the idol of silver that his mother made for him. Solomon writes about beauty of the female and she speaks of her love for him. Zechariah writes about angels of the Lord speaking and measuring Jerusalem.

Today we read about the story of Samson and Delilah and the revenge that Samson exacts on the Philistines. Solomon writes about the woman looking for her beloved man and the friends trying to help. Zechariah begins with calling Israel back to God and God shows him the vision of the future for Israel through horns and craftsmen.

Today we read about Samson getting revenge on the Philistines. Solomon writes this part of Song of Songs about the woman opening up to the man and her love for him. The Lord makes a promise to bless His exiled people when they restore the house of the Lord and making Zerubbabel like His signet ring.

Today we read about Samson's marriage and riddle that end in disaster. Solomon's song describes the man's love for the beauty of the woman. Haggai calls for Israel to rebuild the house of the Lord.
