Qualitek cc was founded in 1992 by Levett Prins (age 58) who obtained a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Pretoria. We strive to bring the most advanced mining methods and ore processing technologies to small and medium scale miners in Africa.

All equipment is designed in-house for tough mining conditions with simplicity of operation in mind while maintaining high efficiency. Designs can be scaled up & down to any required size. Various patents are registered on proprietary design concepts. Key technologies include wash plants, fine milling machines, modern sluices, flotation cells, dissolution tanks, adsorption columns.

Equipment can be applied to precious metal like gold & PGM’s (Platinum Group metals) and base metals like copper, cobalt, lithium, chrome etc. Our in-house metallurgical laboratory can analyse client specific ore and test the beneficiation process on pilot plant scale before equipment manufacturing commence. Based on ore grade a business model is compiled to determine capex requirement, equipment payback period, operations cost breakdown, cash flow predictions etc. All manufacturing is done in South-Africa at our Pretoria factory with plate metal production line and machine shop. Advanced CNC controlled production processes guarantee quality and fast turnaround time.
