Is ISIS a Military division of the US?
In this podcast i will discuss the US support for ISIS (and Nusra) in Syria.
Isis is not directly under the US army, but it's mercendaries are paid by the US and are supported with weapons
US planners simply flood the country with weapons and then turn a blind eye to where the weapons would certainly end up
At the moment most Members of ISIS have been elemineted in Syria, other members are relocated and some are abandoned in SYRIA by them
Aleppo and Damascus international airports were damaged by an Israeli missile attack
Wednesday evening’s missile attack temporarily disabled Aleppo international airport but also caused damage to the one in Damascus, the Syrian government said on Thursday. The attack, which Syria blamed on Israel, is the first known instance of targeting both civilian airports on the same day.
Israeli F-16s launched a total of 16 projectiles from outside Syrian airspace, deputy chief of the Russian peacemaking mission in Damascus, Major General Oleg Egorov, confirmed on Thursday. Syrian air defenses shot down three of the incoming missiles, but the others struck the facilities in Aleppo and Damascus, he added.
According to the Syrian transportation ministry, the Aleppo runway was damaged, but repairs are ongoing and the airport is expected to reopen for traffic by noon local time on Friday. As for the Damascus airport, the damage inflicted “did not affect” operations, the ministry said.
“Syria retains its full rights to hold the Israeli occupation authorities accountable and bear all legal, moral, political and financial responsibilities for deliberately targeting the international airports of Damascus and Aleppo and for endangering civilian facilities and lives,” the Syrian Foreign Ministry said in a letter to the UN secretary-general and the Security Council, according to the state news agency SANA.

Back in June, a series of Israeli strikes took the Damascus Airport out of service for several weeks, with traffic being rerouted to Aleppo – which had only reopened in February 2020, after being damaged in the decade-long civil war. Wednesday’s strike is the first known instance of Israel attacking both of Syria’s active international airports.
The international airport in Latakia is adjacent to the Khmeimim airbase used by the Russian expeditionary force, and has so far not been a target of Israeli attacks.
Israel has repeatedly struck Syria with missiles, usually fired from Lebanese airspace or the occupied Golan Heights, wary of air defense systems provided by Russia to Damascus. On the rare occasions the Israeli government has acknowledged the attacks, it has described them as preemptive self-defense against Iran. Tehran has offered military aid to Damascus in recent years against Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) terrorists and other radical militants.
The London-based Iran International claimed that Wednesday’s strike was aimed at preventing an Iranian cargo plane from landing, first in Aleppo and then in Damascus. The plane reportedly belongs to an airline the US has designated as affiliated with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and placed under sanctions.

Syria Map of Military control - Divisions
According to the map of military points the areas controlled by the conflicting parties on the ground in Syria are as follows:
The Syrian opposition factions
the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF)
the Syrian regime
— The opposition factions have control over (10.98%) of the Syrian geography, as the areas they hold are distributed in Idlib and northern Aleppo, in the Tal Abyad and Ras al-Ain areas, in Raqqa and al-Hasakah, and in the Zakaf and Al-Tanf area (55-km de-confliction zone) in southeastern Syria.
— The Assad regime has control over re-captured areas that come to (63.38%) of the Syrian geography, which encompasses the governorates of the coastal region of the country, central and southern Syria, and part of the eastern governorates and Aleppo. In addition, the regime forces extended their control over Daraa after stepping up its military operations against that governorate in July 2021 which was concluded in the format of reconciliation with the people of Daraa. The regime’s control over As-Suwayda governorate in the south; however, remains fragile and limited to tightening the grip of its security branches and state institutions without subjecting the governorate to a military invasion as in other areas.
— The Syrian Democratic Forces "SDF", in contrast control over with: (25.64%) of the Syrian geography, which is the same percentage recorded since November 2019, and includes large parts of the Deir ez-Zor governorate, Raqqa, al-Hasakah, and parts of the Aleppo governorate.
Accordingly, it has been possible to differentiate between the areas of SDF control according to the spread of the military bases of either the US-led International Coalition or the Russian forces. The military bases of the Russian forces are spread mainly in the areas from which the International Coalition forces withdrew, in addition to their main base at Qamishli Airport.
• Of course, ISIS has no longer had any military control over the Syrian territory since February 2019. However, the American troops are stil present in the country
US occupation troops control the vast majority of Syria's oil fields with the help of the SDF
US steals new batch of Syrian oil as Damascus reports $107bln in losses since 2011
According to local reports from the city of Qamishli, the tankers were first escorted to the illegal Mahmoudiya border crossing on the Iraqi border, where the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have set up a “huge warehouse” to store the oil before it is transferred into tanker trucks bearing Iraqi plates.
Washington’s latest oil theft operation came on the same day that the Syrian foreign ministry revealed the oil sector has incurred losses of at least $107.1 billion since the start of the US-sponsored war in 2011.
In identical letters addressed to the secretary general of the UN and to the president of the UN Security Council, Syrian officials detail that the direct and indirect losses come as a result of “the thefts of oil, gas, and mineral resources … by terrorist groups and the separatist SDF militia that is spreading in northeastern Syria under the auspices, protection, and support of [US troops illegally deployed in Syria].”
Damascus also blames “the illegal bombing and aggression perpetrated by the so-called ‘international coalition’ on Syrian oil and gas facilities” for the massive losses in revenue.
Washington has intensified its oil looting operation in Syria in the wake of their own severe energy crisis, which was exacerbated by sanctions imposed on Russia’s energy sector.
Earlier this month, the Syrian Oil Ministry released a statement saying that the US army plunders “66,000 barrels of oil every single day,” amounting to around 83 percent of Syria’s daily oil production.
The occupation army is also responsible for plundering the country’s wheat, exacerbating an acute food crisis. According to the World Food Programme (WFP), 12.4 million Syrians — or close to 70 percent of people in the country today — are food insecure.
In the face of this, armed groups have intensified attacks against US occupation bases. Last week, a US base in the Conoco oil field came under attack several times, injuring a number of soldiers and causing material damage.
The US maintains approximately 900 troops in Syria, primarily split between the Al-Tanf base and the country’s eastern oil fields, allegedly to protect Syria’s vast resources from falling under the control of ISIS.
Their deployment is illegal under international law, as it was implemented without the consent of Damascus or the UN.
