Mobile Muskies
As the season moved forward, we shifted our focus to finding good weeds. We planned to be super mobile in jumping from lake to lake in northern Wisconsin, known for tons of musky waters. Timing is a crucial factor when hitting a lake at the right time can make the difference between success and failure.

PMTT Eagle River and PMTT Spirit Lake
Another season for the PMTT, "Professional Muskie Tournament Trail," was about to get underway. With an awesome PMTT run the year before, with Mike and Bryan finishing in second place for the "Top Gun Team of The Year," they were excited to get things going. The first event was in Eagle River, WI., and the second event was in Spirit Lake, IA., where records were being shattered!

Learning New Muskie Waters
We are always looking for new water, adding more opportunities to our muskie fishing portfolio. Figuring out new water is a challenge. Putting the pieces of the puzzle together is what we are wired to do. Sometimes it works, and sometimes well, you'll have to watch and find out!

Muskie River Rats
With the lockdown due to covid, we just had too much time to think about what new adventures we could plan. So we decided to target a small river. We had no idea if there were even muskies in its waters. All we knew for sure was that a guy told me that he had caught a muskie while fishing for walleyes. That was good enough for us!

Swift Water Muskies - Keyes Outdoors Musky Hunting Adventures
With the winter snows all melted and flowing into all the rivers and tributaries, swift water can be very productive. The muskies that haven't spawned yet are using and taking advantage of the swift water to feed up before the spawning period begins.
